Holiday rentals with a patio in Lexington

This little retreat is so peaceful and serene. It's the perfect place to unplug and just soak up the nature. The apartment was cozy and had all the right touches to make you feel at home.

My husband and I decided to extend our honeymoon stay in the area and the lodging we had been staying at couldn’t host us for the extra day, which is how we came to find this gem! We loved this apartment and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was great and the home itself was just STUNNING. From the low lights & jazz music playing on arrival, to the cute & homey decor, to all the extras (robes, espresso, cozy blankets), this place completely impressed us. Oh, and the outdoor area was just an extra plus! The host was super responsive and sweet and couldn’t have possibly done anything better, it was all perfect! We would 100% recommend this stay and we hope to return for an anniversary trip!

Glenn is a great host. Friendly, helpful, flexible. Wonderful lawn that goes down to the river. Canoe and kayaks available. Fire pit with lots of free wood. Well equipped kitchen. Very quiet. We’d go back anytime.

awesome area. was skeptical at first because as some people know downtown next to wasena is a bit sketchy, but overall was amazing and comfort level was awesome! pets are allowed which again, is another plus. thanks neil!

We loved the space, everything was clean and in order. While I did not want for a thing, I happen to be an extremely tall woman (6'2") and I did hit my head on more than one occasion. That being said, if you are very tall, know that there are some low ceiling areas. Other than that, Susan provided a wonderful place to enjoy several days, even though they were rainy :(

Loved this stay it was great for my family and I! My one year old had tons of space to play safely and my 10 year old had his own space to be comfortable! Loved this stay! It was nice and cozy!

We loved it and felt right at home! We attended my son’s graduation from @RoanokeCollege and it was an easy drive! Mark was responsive and amazing the whole weekend! Highly recommend!! We will stay again for certain!!

Ashley and John were superior hosts and their cabin was exactly what we expected as our family celebrated a college graduation in Lexington, about 25 minutes away. Cozy and thoughtfully-appointed, their home was super clean it served our ends ideally, including cooking some steaks on the grill outside! The TV enabled us to check in on playpff basketball too. All in all a great stay! Thanks guys.

Martha's house is just like the pictures! Immaculately clean, artistic, quirky, and full of personality. Spectacular views. Less than 10 min. to W&L and the heart of Lexington. Martha is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and absolutely communicates well. We arrived late at night, and the keypad checkin was a breeze. Highly, highly recommend!

Amy and Gareth made sure to think about every detail. They made sure that the purpose of our trip was celebrated. Amy provided a list of local recommendations and it was so helpful! The aesthetics of the house is also so natural and relaxing. There was no need to stress out about anything because the house came fully equipped. The walking path down to the river was also so beautiful! We cannot thank them enough for such a memorable time!

Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and Gateway Cottage was very comfortable. The cottage was very well stocked. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Barbara and Phil.

The back deck makes this house worth every penny. The house is great, big bedrooms, comfy beds and everything’s clean. About 30 mins to Roanoke and 40 mins to Lynchburg. A short 10 min drive or less to Smith Mountain Lake. Definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here for a family trip to the VA Safari Our stay was wonderful! We only stayed one night but wished we stayed longer, the house & environment was so peaceful and clean. We used the grill and the kitchen; which was a bonus for us having kids. The kids enjoyed the back porch and lawn very much. I really don't have any area to mention for improvements.... it was a really spectacular place! ahh... i just taught if had to reccomend something it would be some board games. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much for hosting us!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Randolph’s mountain getaway! The space was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—just the perfect escape from the noise and busyness of everyday life. Randolph was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and offered great local tips in his guidebook. Mary, was very communicative. I knew upon arriving where to find keys, important things about the condo, and had some suggestions for the resort. The Wintergreen Resort was a wonderful place. My partner and I were able to have spa treatments which were stellar. We are at The Edge for dinner one night and got pastries in the morning from the coffee shop close by. It was a wonderful place. We hope to stay again.

Unit was perfect for our long weekend! We had one small hiccup at check in but the host was quick to answer/reply and got it resolved right away! The home was clean and location is perfect for staying in the village! Would definitely rent again!

Absolutely a gem!! Loved the super clean, comfortable (especially the huge soft sofa!) space. Kitchen had all the basics we needed, and everything worked as expected. Was the perfect location for our home base as we section-hiked the Appalachian Trail for a week. Would definitely stay again!
