Built in the 1600s, Puzzle Cottage is the oldest property in the village and is believed to have been the falconry for Bolton Castle. An unusual layout set out over three floors, the cottage has been sympathetically styled with a cosy cottage feel which adds to the immense character and charm of this historic old cottage.

The cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes’ walk from the pretty Georgian square in the centre of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Recently fully renovated, it provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Richmond is a historic market town with unique shops, great restaurants, tea rooms and bars. It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Our charming couples cottage forms part of a grade 2 listed cornmill, resting in the tranquil hamlet of Wensley Station just outside the quaint market town of Leyburn. Newly renovated, the contemporary country style loft cottage is warm and welcoming. Rest and relax in front of the log burner on a cold winter's evening or unwind with a glass of local gin in the enclosed garden with hot tub looking out over the idyllic views of Wensleydale, towards Penn Hill.
