Staying at the igloo was a very special treat! We had never been in a circular home like this and the 360 windows gave a magical view of the oceans and mountains. Súsanna's home was extremely well-appointed. Laundry, cooking staples like salt, sugar, oil, flour, etc, easy parking, all made our stay there convenient. Thoughtful touches like fluffy robes, customizable colored lighting and a welcome basket were delightful surprises and so kind. And all of this made this an incredible stay. Highly recommended for coziness and as a well-stocked home base for Faroe Islands exploration. We loved the location and the peaceful neighborhood with its own small waterfall and local ponies who welcomed us back each night. We hope to come back! Thank you for the hospitality!

Highly recommend this place! It is peaceful and quiet with amazing views. The house is lovely - just as in the description and pictures - and Gunnar is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We loved the well supplied kitchen and hot tub on the deck. Also loved the wildlife - birds and sheep and, most importantly, newborn lambs - right outside the house! Great location - about midway between the airport and Torshavn and a perfect jumping off point for exploring all the islands. As mentioned, the walk up to the house could be difficult for those unable to walk up a steep grade but is fine for most. It was a perfect place for our week in the Faroe Islands.

We were guests in this beautifully developed boathouse for a week. The location in the middle of the Faroe Islands is unbeatable, from here you can explore the whole country by car! It was just super cozy, quiet and relaxing here. The accommodation was exactly as described and everything was very clean and tidy. We were also very happy about the washing machine and dryer, you can't find that everywhere. Communication with the hosts was always very friendly, informative and fast. We can only recommend the accommodation as well as Maria and Pol as hosts and would definitely come again.

Atli made us feel like at home. The whole house was very clean and everything we needed was there. We did especially appreciated the fact that some food was in the refrigerator when we arrived; on a holiday day. This kind gesture from Atli was amazing and we do thank him a lot for that!
