Phenomenal stay! Stop searching and book this place—seriously. This house is absolutely spectacular—pictures don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful and serene it is. The view? Unreal. Just breathtaking. It’s only a minute walk to the beach and a charming local restaurant, and just 5 minutes to town and stores. Benton was amazing—responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. He connected us with a private chef, in-home massages, and local excursions, making everything effortless and personal. We loved watching the wildlife—colorful frogs at night and giant lizards during the day—and the pool was the perfect temperature 24/7. This home is perfect for couples looking for total privacy, but we can’t wait to return with our kids next time. My husband and I travel frequently, and this was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thank you, Benton, for such an unforgettable stay. We’ll be back—and we’re already telling our friends around the world to book your place too!

The house and the place are beautiful. They have very well cared for green areas, that's important. The people who welcomed us (Óscar and Masiel) were very kind and always willing to help us. I recommend the place at 100.

A very quiet place, very spacious as well as being very safe.

Emily and Florent were super nice and helpful, we felt welcome and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect, a nice spot so sit outside, a comfortable bed and a kitchen with everything you need. It was very clean. We really enjoyed the pool. The beaches are very close by, we loved going to see the sunset in the evenings. We can only recommend this place.

Very cool place. Pool was awesome and so were wildlife and views. Behind big gate and the AC was great all over the house. Washer and dryer nice touch. Saw cows horses birds and monkeys.

Very comfortable, nice and safe place; with the plus of a very clean pool and a surprising outdoor shower that turned out to be quite an experience. A place with a very good location, with restaurants, suppliers and the beach nearby. We always had very good communication with the hosts and they were attentive to any questions.

Ample parking, private security, excellent maintenance of the green areas, common areas and the apartment is all very new. Excellent attention from Michelle.

This place was pristine! Whoever designed this home had excellent attention to detail. The landscape has grown in nicely since the pictures were taken so the property was even more beautiful than expected. With no adjacent rear neighbor, the trees, foliage and wildlife behind the home are beautiful. In fact, there is only one home adjacent to the property but and it's separated by a pretty good privacy fence. Loved the small surf town of Playa Grande as well!

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

The villa is beautiful, comfortable and private. Jefrey is an excellent host, he is friendly and accessible. Our stay was in rainy season so the street was in very poor condition, take it into account if you go with a sedan type car, and the villa is a little far from the village where you can buy groceries. Leaving this aside, it is a place that is totally worth visiting.

Great place to stay! We loved the jungle feel at casa abejas and the salt water pool was amazing.

If you are looking for a unique Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. The house backs up to a rainforest, where you will enjoy indoor/outdoor living, encounter Howler monkeys swinging from the trees, birds chirping, the sound of rain falling against the leaves. And yes there were a few critters, but that was to be expected, especially since we visiting during the beginning of the rainy season. The beds are cozy and the house is less than 10 minutes from town, the beach, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and made great recommendations. Our experience was definitely memorable.

Wow! This place was amazing for our family’s stay in Costa Rica. The pool was a huge hit and we frequently came back mid day to refresh and then go get some dinner. The big double opening doors were awesome in the mornings to let in the sounds of the surrounding wildlife. One of our last nights we went to El Beach Club in playa grande and had an awesome meal. Definitely worth checking out if you stay here! Our kids loved the 2 Cats that seem to frequent the property and were super cute and pleasant. All in all don’t hesitate to stay here if you are looking at this area. It’s a bit of a drive to Tamarindo, but it is really nice at the end of the day to come back to the peace that this offers. We loved it! Great place and amazing hosts!

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

A very nice house, very clean, it has everything you need and more, it is about 35 minutes from the best beaches and the place where it is located is quite quiet. The host is always attentive and responds practically immediately. The only thing missing to make it perfect is a closed parking lot, otherwise no complaints.

Brandon and his mother were out of a fairytale the kindest most genuine hosts I have ever met. If you want to fully immerse yourself in the ambience and culture of Costa Rica this is exactly what you want! You are able to fully be in the peace and nature of the rain forest and his mother took us out one night to show us frogs from their decorative pond! His mother also brought us an authentic Costa Rican breakfast with eggs from their chickens, homemade traditional rice, beans and tortillas with a slice of homemade cheese from their cows they milk daily. The location is perfect to be central for day trips and the town has the kindest people we met in Costa Rica. This experience was truly magical and the best place that we stayed in Costa Rica! I hope to come back again to specifically see Brandon and his family! You can’t ask for better hosts or experience in my opinion.

This place was amazing. We heard a wider variety of birds than any where else on our trip. We saw sloths, monkeys, toucans, raptors, bats. There were toucan and common tody flycatcher nests near my room or the property and an armadillo home! The host and staff were welcoming and attentive. The housekeeper took us out to show us animals every day! Don't think it is included, she just loved animals. Breakfast each day was delicious and plenty. The place was lovely. We were upgraded to the place that sleeps 6! So we had a studio bed and a bedroom. There were 2 fruit trees outside the bedroom, where we could help ourselves or watch the birds eat. On the deck we had 2 hammocks, a table and chairs and a couch. All of it was beautifully set up, heaps of power outlets too. There was a huge bouquet of flowers in the lovely bathroom. We loved our time here. Thank you.

Everything was excellent! The house is very spacious, comfortable, nice and everything is in excellent condition. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Mrs. Anyelina and her family are very kind and always attentive to respond quickly.

Ana was an amazing host who was very responsive and helpful. She was welcoming, and the place was clean and as described. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was clean, well maintained, and in a beautiful area. Host was extremely helpful and made us feel at home.
