Monthly Rentals in Lick Creek Precinct

We were in town for a girls get away with some hiking and Twisted Sister was perfect! Such a beautiful setting and so close to the places we wanted to go. It was super easy to get in, very clean, and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves as we prefer to do. We also enjoyed strawberries from Flamm Orchard, and great hikes at nearby Little Grand Canyon and Cove Hollow, plus of course Giant City State Park. Candace was an excellent hostess. She lives next door but gave us complete privacy. And when I had questions or wanted recommendations she was super responsive. It made us feel safe and cared for. It is so nice that she shares her beautiful property with guests in this way. We will be back!

My husband and I had the best time at the barn bunkie! It was exactly what we were looking for - Quiet, relaxing and cute. We pulled up and were greeted by the world’s sweetest pets! 2 fluffy, friendly dogs and a very chatty cat. It didn’t stop there. Goats and horses galore! My husband works with horses so he loved that. I gravitated towards the goats as they are one of my favorite animals. The bunkie was cozy and had everything you need for a (somewhat) off-the-grid vacation (we recommend bringing a few board games as there is no tv). There is a ladder to get up to the bedroom, but it added to the fun! The bed is very comfortable. Keith and Becky were great hosts! Both very friendly and had great recommendations for food, vineyards and shopping. We will definitely be back!

Another great stay as always. I call this place my condo because I rent it often. Highly recommend for a peaceful, quiet and clean comfortable stay.

Enjoyed spending Memorial Day weekend at the wine trails and at Tricia’s AirBNB. The house was everything expected and more. The house was beautiful, bedding was comfortable and everything was extremely clean. Tricia was super responsive to any questions I had. I would love to stay again next time we visit Makanda. Thank you for a great stay!!
