Great place to stay with a massive yard for a family or dogs to play. Very close to some of the Buckeye Lake Bars, and a great place to stay.

Scott’s place is exactly as described, small yet comfortable. The yard area is very relaxing and inviting. We saw quite a a few wildlife in the area even spotting a white tail deer near the property. Scott is very responsive and friendly.

We had a wonderful time at Buckeye Lake and enjoyed the accommodations. Large back yard, covered front porch and newly remodeled inside. View of the lake. Pet friendly.

Beth was SUPER responsive and helpful. We had the best time playing games together and we loved the layout of the house. I had completely missed that there was a basement with a ping-pong table! We were there for my eldest's college graduation (approximately a gorgeous 45 minute drive) and it was perfect. Thank you, Beth!

We were at the house mainly to sleep and for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable! Shower in the master bath was small and a little tight. The shared bathroom has a larger shower. Kitchen was supplied with minimal equipment for cooking and would not be enough if you wanted to bake. The house is very spacious and easy to find. It worked well for what we needed!

This property was so peaceful and perfect for a large family traveling. plenty of space to spread out. Venkata, the host, was quick to respond anytime I contacted him and worked through a little mishap we had with me perfectly. We were in town for a family wedding so we were so grateful to have a beautiful base to work from! Thank you!

This was a perfect house for my daughters (ages 11 and 13) and I to stay in! It has a huge back yard, which my daughters loved playing in, and is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. When we had a small issue with the furnace, Ado and Cindy (co-hosts) were quick to respond and went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable. This was an issue that was completely out of their control and which they worked quickly on to fix. They also checked in on us daily to make sure they were doing everything they could for us, which they were. They went above and beyond, which was truly appreciated! For any equestrians getting ready to show at the Brave Horse Horse Shows, this was a great location! Only 10-15 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you Juan Carlos and Cara. Your home was the perfect place to spend a long Father’s Day weekend. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and welcoming neighbors and comfortable surroundings. Next time we want to spend time at Buckeye Lake we will definitely check if your home is available. Lastly, we forgot an item after we checked out and Juan Carlos was gracious to allow us back in a few hours later to retrieve. Super Host indeed!

The place was perfect for our needs and Michele was super responsive. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from Denison. Michele is an amazing host and had balloons and other celebratory items there when we arrived. The lay out of the house was perfect for our needs. Two bedrooms downstairs with a shared bathroom and two more upstairs. Also the mattresses were super-comfortable. The location was close enough to the college and the airport and conveniently located near anything we needed.

This home was exactly what we needed for our long Easter weekend. David was responsive almost immediately to any question or concern we had. He was also willing to give us two extra hours on a late checkout with no charge. The property was exactly as described and fit all of our needs. Modern updates and little touches around the house made for a very pleasant stay! Would recommend and will stay again when in the area!

This place was absolutely beautiful! It was only a few blocks away from the lake and it was so peaceful. The hosts were extremely quick to respond with whatever we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. Perfect stay if you have kids since there is a game room and plenty of board games. The high ceilings were so aesthetically pleasing and we were blown away by the surround sound in the ceiling & the gorgeous gold shower. So cool. We will definitely be returning soon!

We really enjoyed our time at Shome on the Lake at Buckeye Lake. I wanted a quiet place with our own personal pool and hot tub for a relaxing vacation with my kids and it did not disappoint. Aaron was very kind and quickly responded to any inquiries. He did not hesitate to ensure we had everything needed to have a pleasant stay. We went catfishing nearby on the lake and caught many very nice sized fish. Pulled in two ginormous catfish right off the dock of the BNB but unfortunately they snapped the line before we got them all the way out of the water. The little cove where the house sits is perfect for kayaking. Considering that for our next trip! We had such a fun time and will certainly be back. Thank you Aaron for all you did for us while on our trip. We sincerely appreciate you!

We had a great stay and the house was super clean. We are grateful to the hosts that accept dogs, especially because we were there to train. We would recommend and will come for another stay in the future.

Great place to stay for a birthday weekend with friends! Check in was easy, Rosemary was so nice and helpful when it came to showing us around the property. Felt safe and secluded the entire weekend. Truly a great weekend celebrating a birthday with friends!

This was such a comfy haven that felt remote even though it was still close enough to our venue for the weekend. It was so very peaceful, quiet and private. Stephen is a great communicator and responds promptly. The only heads-up I will give is that the property is so brand spanking new that neither Waze nor Google Maps knew where we were going. We just thought it was funny, and once we got situated we were able to pin the location. Not a big deal AT ALL. I think he may have even sent directions, I just relied on my friends to guide me after they'd already arrived 😌 We'd love to book again sometime. Everything was delightful, and I would highly recommend this property. Thank you, Stephen, for the details you incorporated into this unique, cozy home.

Krissie was such a great host . The place was very clean neat and well put together . The decor is amazing . The wooden cabin is a home feeling . Spacious and the backyard is gated and spacious if you have children . The walk to the lake is close by. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again soon.
