We are located 10mins from Michaelhouse and 30mins from Midmar Dam. Relax in the peace and quiet of nature, walk along and fish the lovely Mpofana River and explore the small home stores and activities of the Midlands Meander from this peaceful haven. Easy access to local wedding venues, Michaelhouse School and local Midlands Meander attractions.

There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Large Farmhouse (Bridford), Balgowan, KZN Midlands

Large family or group stays. Bridford Farm is a wonderful family home set in the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands just over the hill from Michaelhouse school. There are loads of rooms, lovely wintery fires and gorgeous gardens with spectacular views of the Balgowan valley. The dam is home to grass carp for catch and release, and the forest walking trail is suitable for the whole family. There is also a tennis court. This quaint chalet has the most amazing views, overlooking natural bush and open valleys. It is a very tranquil, quiet and perfect place to unwind. In addition to this comfortable 2-bedroom double Storey chalet, it has a secluded rock pool, a step away from the front door. The farm road is 2.5km and a steep climb, low cars are not recommended.s
