The cabin has running water, electricity and WiFi, so you can relax without missing out on the necessary amenities. "Cabin standard" includes a combustion toilet and washing dishes by hand – fresh, hot or cold water is collected from the bathroom. Instructions are included.

Here you have everything you want of shops, restaurants and nightlife in the immediate vicinity and great hiking opportunities. Asker has a lot to offer, and Engelsrud is surrounded by three lakes which gives many opportunities for recreation summer and winter. Our garden/yard is very family friendly. A five minute walk from the house you can get public transportation bringing you downtown Asker in ten min. Asker has a small, but well developed downtown with a nice selection of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min. 15 min by car will bring you to the Oslo fjord in Asker.

This cabin is a 3 km walk from where you park your car. When you enter the cabin, there is nice scenery and nice opportunities to hike in Norwegian nature. It is quiet and peaceful without traffic nearby. From 1 January to 1 April, it can sometimes be hard to get into the cabin due to a lot of snow. Now there is almost no more snow left.
