Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

Boasting a beautiful view of the Alps, the chalet Casa Girod - Rascard is located in Fontainemore AO. The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 6 people.
