Valerie is very lovely person who made me feel at home and very welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Valerie has a lovely garden and courtyard which I was able to utilise on a warm evening. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a place to stay.

The Annex was a great hub for us while we were visiting the island. It was clean, comfortable and lovely and quiet. Nicola was a great host, very clear instructions for checking in/out and a very responsive host who was helpful with questions and quick to respond. Thank you for having us.

The Cart Shed at Old Stone Place

CharleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Quirky and full of personality. Impressively renovated; the before and after photos are something else! Some reviews mention dust, cob webs, holes between the floor boards etc. That’s accurate, however the charm of this place is very much in the fact that you can still recognise it as a-once-cart-shed. The second bedroom is extremely small. We used it for our baby in the travel cot but personally I don’t think I’d be comfortable using the bed unless you’re used to very tight spaces. The main bedroom was perfect; the bath a real treat. We didn’t feel the need to use the hot tub because of this! Kitchen is well equipped, loads of games. Super thankful for the bread, eggs, butter, milk etc. provided. Farm shop next door is also really good, open 8am to 7pm each day. Finally, the offer of a discounted ferry booking was very much welcomed! Saved us £100+.

Surf Shack - Impeccable 1-Bed Cottage in Shorwell

BradleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My wife and I stayed here for a local wedding and had a really nice experience. The venue was peaceful and scenic, which made it a great spot for the event. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet—just what we needed for a weekend away. Everything was as expected, and the surroundings added a calm, relaxed feel to the trip. The host was easy to communicate with and check-in was simple. It’s a solid choice if you’re attending something nearby or just want a low-key place to stay. I’d be happy to come back if I’m ever in the area again.

A secluded cabin in a glorious downland setting

LaurieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
A stunning secluded location with outstanding views. Great for wildlife spotting. The kids loved the enormous outdoor space to run free and picking blackberries for their breakfast. Cabin is compact but has everything you need. No mains electricity but solar/battery so no high power appliances. Beds are comfy and bedding provided. Centrally located, seemed to be about 20-30 mins from anywhere on the island. Be warned that the steep grass track up to the cabin can be slippery and you may have to leave the car at the bottom of the hill and walk in bad weather. We only had to once and it actually added to the adventure! All in all a fantastic place with a very friendly host. Looking forward to going back. Thanks Charlie.
