Most incredible stay I've had- thank you François and the team! I've never stayed somewhere which has exceeded my expectations like this apartment. It was truly beautiful- from the smell of the honeysuckle tree below the balcony, to the incredible view, to the little details like a jar of sweets in the apartment, and the incredible communication from the team and amenities! The apartment is a short walk from some amazing restaurants, just round the corner from the cité and near to local shops in a peaceful and friendly neighbourhood! It was the perfect base to explore Carcasssone and the surrounding wine regions! The apartment was spotless, the appliances were all modern, there was a really great shower, and incredibly comfy beds with crisp white linen. It truly made our holiday special, and I'll never forget our time here! I'd recommend this property again and again and again and would not hesitate to return as soon as we can!

Fantastic apartment in a great location on Place Carnot, brilliant value for money! Even though the apartment is located on a busy square the noise does not travel up to the apartment and once the doors are closed it blocks any noise out. The bedroom is located in the back of the apartment which is great for privacy. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for breakfast, taking in the atmosphere of Place Carnot but in the comfort of your own space! The Carrefour shop is right below the apartment which is very convenient. Central location to walk around Carcassonne. We had to message Manuel a few times and he was always very quick to respond. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, great apartment!

Steven’s place was a perfect retreat in Rennes-les-Bains—quiet, right on the river, and very idyllic. It was easy to walk to the local hot springs or head out on stunning hikes. Across the street was a wonderful little coffee shop/convenience store/gift shop all in one, which made everything even more convenient. The place was clean, well-stocked, and had excellent Wi-Fi. I would stay here again anytime! Steven really makes an effort to ensure you have everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay.

Perfect location in the center of Limoux and ideal for enjoying its carnival. The apartment is clean and matches the listing. Two good-sized bedrooms, and large bathroom. The living room-kitchen is small for 3/4 people, but ok for 2. We didn't meet Nicole in person but check-in was easy. Free parking 5/10 minutes' walk, difficult to park close to the accommodation during carnival.

Right in the centre of Carcassonne yet the most peaceful / quiet place there is! I had a very lovely time at Barbara's, it felt like a mini-holiday despite staying for work purposes. I tried to find negatives to say but couldn't really find one! Both the apartment and the back-garden are really lovely, I will stay there again when I am next back in Carcassonne.

Claire and Peter are extremely welcoming, at the same time discreet, but attentive and responsive to any needs. The location is paradise for those who love the beauty of nature, silence, tranquility and simplicity. Ideal for browsing Cathar sites in all directions. The main room is spacious, comfortable and comfortable to live in. Also, the view from this room and from the adjoining terrace is really splendid. Too bad we came without our guitars, because we learned that Peter was a good guitarist and we could have shared a few notes. We highly recommend this place for all nature lovers. Wonderful property and great hosts. Spectacular views and perfect location to explore both parts of Carcassonne. Can't think of a better place to stay in the city.

We had a fantastic stay here - the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the medieval castle. It is so easy to step outside and soak in the atmosphere with charming alleyways, plenty of eateries (still some closed in mid-June), and little shops all around. Access to the castle and the walk along the wall (highly recommend) is just minutes away. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with great bathroom facilities and a fantastic outdoor area that we really enjoyed. We did have a bit of trouble finding it at first, but once we reread Marie's instructions it all made sense - be sure to look for Le Rendez-vous above the entrance door. Having free car parking was brilliant, and we didn’t mind the walk up to the apartment. We stayed one night, and found we had enough time to look around, we loved old Carcassonne and it is definitely worth visiting. It was a really memorable stay and we’d thoroughly recommend it.

The stay at Julie's apartment was really nice. It was literally two steps from the city of Carcassonne and we were very comfortable. Although it was only one day, I hope in the future there will be more and we can enjoy Carcassonne more.

This is probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at and I mean it. I was so surprised at how wonderful everything was and far beyond any expectations I had. The space was amazing. Fred and Delf have put a lot of dedication and hard work into renovating this historical building and making it comfortable for guests. The building itself is beautiful and historical. Also the views of the gardens and castle are amazing! Carcassonne is also such a beautiful and charming town I plan to vome back to. Fred and Delf were just extremely kind in an autgentic way. They were very friendly, and always made sure I had everything I needed and enjoying the stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone coming to Carcassonne. It truly was a great experience.

Wonderful place to spend a few quiet days. This is the second time we've been here and we're still so happy. Slimane is very welcoming and the apartment is magnificent, well decorated and practical. We will come again

The apartment is very nice with its very private terrace. It was appointed very nicely. When I arrived by car, it took me a while to find the street and especially a parking space, but after that it was easier. I really enjoyed the quiet at night and the lack of nuisance.

Hello, we had a pleasant stay. The place is spacious , clean and good location. Garcia is friendly and friendly. Her sister, welcomed us with a smile.

The apartment was perfect for us...right on the canal with a peaceful private backyard garden and terrace. The kitchen was a gem...everything we needed, whether to just enjoy local wines and cheeses or to cook a full meal. Homps is a convenient hub for visiting other towns and villages nearby. We were there for 11 nights and were sad to leave. Thank you Kay and Knud!

We had a wonderful stay in this accommodation, totally in line with the description and photos. Very well-equipped, all comforts, the terrace is always sunny, the veranda luxurious and a beautiful view of the Canal du Midi. The host is welcoming (welcome gifts), available and friendly. I recommend it and we'll be happy to come back😀☀️.

Great little apartment, very convenient location right by steps up to the old town. You can see the old city from the attractive back terrace. Well equipped. Easy check in and check out. Would happily stay here again. For guests using the sofabed please note no proper door between the bedroom and the living room.

Perfect location and stay. The interior and outdoor terraces overlooking Carcassonne were unbeatable. A poetic place where you can really absorb the surroundings and fee like a local. The perfect base to explore Carcassonne and also visit beautiful nearby towns such as Gruissan and Collioure. Can’t wait to return, arguably our favourite airbnb stay to date.

Frankly, Ras! A lot of small touches in addition to the services /services mentioned in the listing, Val and Phil are super nice, extremely helpful and responsive, very good advice for the activities/ outings available nearby... And their dogs are very cute. In short, a WE too short but great as far as we are concerned👌!

Very happy with this cottage, very nice materials, very nice decor, refined chic, space to park in the courtyard. Everything is very clean and the bedding is impeccable, comfortable, rose petals on the bed. You can hear the footsteps of the inhabitants above, you feel a light presence, but it is not a problem. You will have the best time here,everything is perfection, from the decor to the hot tub and garden. The apartment was a haven after the heat and noise of the cite and Jerome couldn’t have been more helpful. Will be recommending.

Apartment matches the listing in a quiet alley. Pleasant garden. The air conditioning was welcome on this hot June weekend. The jacuzzi is a much appreciated plus.
