A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

A little slice of heaven. A lovely and inviting space located on a property loaded with outdoor activities. The hosts are friendly and responsive to questions. The hot tub is wonderful. The trails and dock are so much fun. And the cozy Stella Studio is great to unwind in after playing outside all day.

Pam's Ocean View cottage was wonderful. Very clean and well appointed with quality bed linens,towels and kitchen supplies. The deck had a great view and we spent a lot of time dining there even though there were many good restaurants nearby. Hope to return.

Lovely cabin! Exactly as pictured and fireplace was amazing. Highly recommended for a rustic getaway in nature.

A very sweet couple of days away at Ian’s cabin. Hosts were extremely friendly and the experience was exactly at expected.

There are no words to describe the stunning view from this cabin. This listing is exactly as described. A rustic cabin. We had family traveling through the area while we were there and they came by to say hello. They remarked that it’s exactly what you’d imagine a “Maine cabin” to be. We came in mid October & as things in the area were winding down. But had a lot of fun strolling through a nearby town that was hosting a pumpkin festival and regatta. We hope to come back and bring our grandchildren (and maybe even their parents ha!) to this rustic cabin in a picturesque setting.

Perfect Maine getaway. We'd loved our peaceful stay at Gale's cabin. It was the perfect place to unplug. The cabin is has small beautiful touches. You can tell a lot of love has been put into these four walls. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed super comfy. Shower was amazing. We loved sitting on the porch and drinking coffee. Sitting around the fire pit at night with our dog. Even though Gale's house is further up on the property, it felt absolutely private. Gale was so communicative and welcoming. Perfect distance for a quick drive into Damariscotta and Boothbay, but had the luxury of being away from it all. 10/10!!

Cabin is a rare find in New England since it was modern, pet friendly and secluded with its own hiking trail connected to a charming farm. The furniture, decor and lighting delivered an amazing glamping experience. But above that, host was sensational with local recommendations and exceeded all expectations to make our stay pleasant.

Beautiful cabin in Sherwood Forest Campsite. Check in and check out were really easy and the cabin itself was very clean. Kitchen is bare bones but had pretty much everything we needed. Even had some firewood for us!

Our third visit to this cozy place by the lake. Simple, yet has everything one needs. We love it. Even saw a loon though wished it had called!

The location of the cabin was perfect for us and we couldn't have asked for a better view from the screened in porch. The cabin was just as described, and the beds were very comfortable! Whitney and Robert were easy to communicate with and we had a great stay.

Loved her place!! Was an amazing getaway for me and my kids, my toddler loved the bed being up high! The amenities were all spot on! The fire pit, kitchen supplies, bathroom, beds. And is walkable to the town area, with coffee shop and restaurants. The river sound to sleep was great!!!

What a gem in Boothbay! This cabin was a perfect retreat for our family for a long weekend. It had great views out to the water from the house and the boathouse below. We loved watching all the birds. Our kid had an amazing time in the loft with various books and toys provided. The kitchen was recently renovated and worked very well. Boothbay is a great destination; we checked out the botanical gardens and other nature areas. Will definitely return.

Loved the location. Cabin was fun and a great value. The outside shower is great - private and lots of hot water. The place is very clean and has everything you need. It felt safe. I will visit again.

We had a great couple of days exploring this area of Maine. It was a great location, central to many of the places we wanted to go. The cabin was clean and cozy and well furnished. Jeff was great at communicating with us and quick to respond. There was quite a bit of road noise that I didn’t expect. However my daughter had stayed there the week before and coming from the city she hadn’t even noticed it. Overall it was a great place to stay!

We love Katharine’s cabin! This is our second year and we plan to make it a tradition. It’s just a great location, and the cabin makes you feel right at home. It’s easy to disconnect and just take Boothsbay in! Thank you for having us!
