Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

We stayed at Bill’s cabin for 3 nights and had a great time. The cabin was well equipped with anything you may need. He even had extra items such as flashlights, umbrellas, camping chairs etc available for guests to use. The movie room was super cool and very well thought out, it even had a popcorn machine! The cabin was only a short drive from lots of hiking trails and the Linville gorge. Bill even shared some local places for us to visit and we really enjoyed them. Definitely recommend staying here!

Wow! Maryia's cabin was so peaceful, clean, and beautiful for an anniversary vacation. My wife and I celebrated with wonderful views of Shortoff Mountain from the deck and living room, which were all the more enjoyable because we knew we'd later hike that mountain! This home was perfect to unwind after all of the awesome nature to explore in the area (Linville Gorge is a particular favorite of mine). The kitchen was very well stocked, the bed was comfy, and the views were top notch. It's hard to imagine a better place for a romantic getaway in the area!

Our stay was very satisfactory!! All amenities worked and were very clean; the hot tub looked great and seemed like it gets regular maintenance. Perfect private location for the price. Cutely decorated and presented exactly like the pictures. The provided essentials were very helpful for any needs we had while we were there. Lots of little things to do nearby. I recommend The Tin Trout (delicious food and even better desserts), Linville Caverns (super cool experience for $12-15 dollars!) and Linville Falls Winery (great service and affordable prices with tasty wine) This place was the perfect spot for a short getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday! Very private and romantic and the amenities make it feel like you can curate your experience to what you prefer. The inside space is beautiful and very spacious for 2 people, and the outside is well maintained and set up nicely! Definitely recommend this spot.
