Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. It is a newer nice cabin for a relaxing stay 20 meters from the lake Næra. Here you can fish without a fishing license. Inside: The loft provides you with two extra beds. The cabin has water limited to the shower and sink. A cozy outdoor toilet in an outhouse one meter from the cabin wall. This one is equipped with lights, heating and ventilation for minimal odor. Drinking water will be delivered before your arrival. Exterior: Private jetty, rowboat and kayaks available. Cozy decor and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. Our garden house has a plain Norwegian cabin standard with everything you need for making simple meals. Some basic food supplies will be available. As we have no running water in the garden house, we have placed a water dispenser in the kitchen area. Your bathroom, with floor heating and shower, is situated right next door, in the main house. The garden house has its own terrace, with access to the garden.
