Beautiful North Norfolk retreat

RuthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kirsty's home - and it truly is a home - is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. In fact, more so. There are stylish and tasteful touches in every room and plenty of interesting books, which is always a draw for us. It is also very comfortable. The beds are sumptuous, the bathrooms spotless, the shower efficient, the kitchen range easy to use, the wifi reliable and good enough for remote working on Zoom. The garden is also lovely and we would have used it a lot if the weather had been kinder to us. Communication with Kirsty was friendly and easy and the basket of gifts left for us much appreciated. We have stayed in many airbnb properties, in the UK and abroad, and this was definitely the best.

Pudding Cottage - Charming and cosy - Dog friendly

TomRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
‘Charming’ is definitely the word. We loved our stay at pudding cottage and can only echo the other reviews. A lovely location to unwind with great pubs, restaurants and quaint villages only a short drive away. Our puppy loved the enclosed garden and woke up very excited to explore each morning, as I write this he’s looking sad to be home! The cottage was clean with plenty of fresh linens and everything else as we expected. We loved nearby village Holt with its many shops and restaurants. Angela gave us clear instructions and the cottage felt like home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay. We’d love to return sometime.

Avocet Eco Barn with Indoor Pool

BrookeRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a lovely long weekend stay here! The place was beautiful and in super clean and tidy condition! The amenities in the property were amazing, being able to cook a roast for 6 people without any difficulty. Cannot fault the property itself in anyway. The pool was amazing, very clean and warm. We loved the fact we had an hour private session to swim. There was a slight miss-communication with check in access to the key however was quickly resolved and Lynne accommodated our late check out request which was great! Only improvement would be for the games room as we didn’t realise we would need money for the pool table so missed out here! Overall had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

Countryside escape, Oozing with character & charm

StuartRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tottering by Gently was the perfect spot for a weekend break. Cosy and comfortable - the space is perfect to relax in, the photos don't quite do it justice! The set up was great for our dog too. Instructions were clear, beautiful setting, easy to find, ideal location for the coast. We hope to visit again soon!

Kingfisher's Retreat

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay at Kingfisher Retreat on Mill Farm. The safari-style tent was beautifully designed and tucked away in a secluded spot, offering complete privacy away from the main campsite. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and fully equipped for a comfortable stay - though a toaster would have been a nice little addition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic, with underfloor heating that made it warm and cozy morning and night. Although we spent most days exploring the Norfolk area, we could have easily spent all our time at the retreat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquility. Communication before our visit was smooth, and we received a warm welcome from Lillie. The fresh bread, milk, and eggs were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a truly peaceful and private escape - perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Really lovely property, great location as a base to explore from, spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more for a lovely break. The milk, tea bags and cake was very much appreciated on arrival. Thank you very much.

The Old Smithy by Big Skies Cottages

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely place in a gorgeous location in Great Walsingham. Country walk to Little Walsingham, the extraordinary Farm shop there, pubs etc. Excellently placed for Wells, Holkham etc. The barn is cosy but didn’t feel cramped. Lots of amenities. And comfortable beds. Our family of three were very well catered for. The cookies and elderflower presse were welcome gifts. Only caveats- very tall people will have to watch themselves in upstairs bathrooms as the sloping roof led to occasional bumped heads! The shower unit was quite low pressure. Apart for these minor issues, the barn is a lovely spot for a getaway.
