Beachfront holiday rental in Livingston County

We traveled to the area for a wedding and appreciated finding a very reasonably priced place to stay for the 7 of us in our group. The house was clean and owners very responsive. As other reviewers have mentioned, the signage in the neighborhood against Airbnb's made us a little nervous, but we had zero issues with neighbors and the entire time we spent at the house was quiet and peaceful. The pizza place and general store near the house were great stops for food and drinks/snacks when we arrived in town. When our daughter forgot one of her dolls at the house, Greg quickly mailed it back to us which was very appreciated. If we had to do it over again, we would have gladly stayed in the same house.

Good place to stay for our annual show trip Into town! Close to where we needed to be and good places to eat! The lake is beautiful and helps to relax after a long day. We loved watching the wild life too!

House has a nice layout. Kitchen layout good (sometimes 4 of us were working on there) Good selection of tea. Bedding and storage great. Bathroom was serviceable with storage and cool towel warmer. Dishes for four people but lots (12?) of mugs and glasses. Nice, friendly neighbors (on both sides) have dogs which our dogs found entertaining :) our dogs also enjoyed the back yard (nice grass and squirrels), walks in the neighborhood as well as visits to dog park nearby. We were charmed by the swans and their offspring up the street. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. View across lake included a few houses but mostly wooded park. Peaceful. Would stay there again. Very convenient access to Kroger, Alex gourmet market, Home Depot, Stella’s (excellent restaurant) and charming Clarkston. I suggest bringing some throw blankets for the leather furniture.

Beautiful place with a stunning lake view! We had a great time kayaking and relaxing by the water. The home was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The host was very responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, would definitely stay again!

April's place was extremely unique. It's the kind of place where you could spend a week just looking at her books, wall art, flowers, maps, gorgeous yard, etc. From the South view world map, to the wind chimes, to the arrays of rocks and crystals that seemed to tie each room and space together - every part of her place is inspiring. I'm hoping to return at a time when we're not busy with events on the other side of town - to enjoy just relaxing at the property!

Very nice home with a beautiful view. The house was clean, spacious, and had all necessities and amenities myself and my group could need. The location on the lake was perfect. No noise from the road or lake, it made the back deck a great place to relax during the day, or sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Chris was accommodating, attentive, responsive and a great host. I would absolutely stay here again.

You will love that it has a driveway, that you can pull in and leave without backing up. The home is bright and cheery. When you walk in, you see that it is just like the listing and better. The decor is soothing to the eyes throughout the home. I felt secure the very first night being there. We enjoyed their private patio with a firepit. It is definitely an all season home to enjoy all year. For young kids it has a bright, clean & spacious basement with pool table that converts to a ping pong table, air hockey table and an electric basket ball hoop arcade game for several to play. My stay here was for 4 weeks and I did not want to leave. I have put this Airbnb in my phone as a place that I want to comeback to again! We loved our stay at the cottage. Its on a quiet peaceful lake. The boys loved the access to the rowboat. We would absolutely stay here again

Great hosts and amazing property! We would come back with no doubts. They provide so many games/things to do and the local bar is walking distance away.

Location was quiet, and house was comfortable. Easy drive to Ann Arbor. Owner responded promptly to questions. Overall, we had a very nice weekend.

This lake house was so incredibly peaceful. It was out of the way and tucked back off of the main roads. We were very comfortable staying here. Tom was always responsive to any questions I may have. Accessing the house was super easy and directions were clearly stated. I would consider staying here again if I am back in the area. All of us slept so well!!!!

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

It looks exactly like the photos but the lake is prettier in person. Daniel was very responsive during the entire process and made sure we’d have everything we needed. Made my birthday very special! Definitely plan on booking again in the future.

We were in the area for out son’s graduation and we are glad we found this place! A few steps from the water, it provided perfect setting for our celebration! Will definitely return if we are ever at the area!

This place was a-mazing! Honestly, the pics don't do it justice. If you're looking for an awesome space to accommodate larger groups then look no further. We liked it so much, we are already discussing plans to potentially come out next Summer and stay again.

Our stay was everything we could've hoped for and more for a relaxing time away. This home was very clean and well cared for. Having the lake literally in the back yard for our personal use anytime we wanted was the icing on the cake. The views from both the open downstairs and master bedroom were very peaceful and serene. We enjoyed a couple mornings watching the cranes have their breakfast off the docks. Just too many good things to be able to note them all. Both Erica and James were very helpful and responsive before our trip and several times throughout our stay. You can tell they love their lake home and take pride in sharing it with others.

Wonderful place to stay. My whole family loved it we can’t wait to go back. And all the beds are amazing. Location was great close enough to town for food delivery. But far enough away for a peaceful stay. Beautiful lakefront home gorgeous views. This place has everything you need or want to have a great stay. I highly recommend. And the host are so friendly down to earth kind of people. We look forward to staying in there home again.

Perfect for our weekend getaway with a few friends! Claire was great at communicating. The lake view and kayaks allowed us to really enjoy North Lake (which is so peaceful!), and we really appreciated the cleanliness and lack of mustiness in the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Marian and Robert’s property exceeded all expectations. My friends and I are umich alumns and had a wonderful time at the residence while still being within a short drive from Ann Arbor. Could not recommend this place enough if you’re visiting Ann Arbor, or just looking for a peaceful stay.

We loved our stay ! Everything was perfect! It was clean and very beautiful. And the views of the water were beautiful and peaceful. Loved waking up and drinking my coffee on the patio and watching the lake! James was always very responsive to our needs! He would go out of way just for us! Very appreciated. He is kind and understanding! Really had a great time being there. It was like home away from home. Thank you James for everything!
