Family-friendly holiday rentals in Livingston County

Our sons wedding was up the road and this was a perfect house for our family. Grandsons loved the games and swing set in the backyard. Wish we would have had more time to feed the fish in the pond and use the hot tub. Linda’s house was spotless and it was nice to have such a beautiful place to come back to at the end of the long days.

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

The property was just as described. It was immaculate, had appropriate amenities (great bathroom products, coffee supplied, plenty of towels) and was a very comfortable place. Back yard is tree and bush lined offering good privacy around the fire pit area. We would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful home and neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel right at home. It was an inviting and charming house. The deck and backyard were perfect for a small, family graduation gathering.

We traveled to the area for a wedding and appreciated finding a very reasonably priced place to stay for the 7 of us in our group. The house was clean and owners very responsive. As other reviewers have mentioned, the signage in the neighborhood against Airbnb's made us a little nervous, but we had zero issues with neighbors and the entire time we spent at the house was quiet and peaceful. The pizza place and general store near the house were great stops for food and drinks/snacks when we arrived in town. When our daughter forgot one of her dolls at the house, Greg quickly mailed it back to us which was very appreciated. If we had to do it over again, we would have gladly stayed in the same house.

Beautiful property, very peaceful. Every window in the house looks out to nature. Beautifully landscaped. Very well stocked kitchen. Carol was very responsive and kind.

Tim’s house was a perfect stay! Tim was so kind to let us check in super early after we arrived at 7am on a red eye flight from the west coast. The house was immaculate and well equipped with every appliance you can think of an Apple TVs in every room. Tim also was so sweet to provide mimosa fixings and zingermans banana bread which was delicious! Will definitely be bookmarking Tim’s house for future Ann Arbor stays. This was by far one of the best Michigan stays I’ve ever had

Maureen’s place was my favorite Airbnb ever, and I’ve stayed in quite a few. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and incredibly well-stocked. We felt at home the minute we walked in the door. Great shower, very comfortable beds, and a lovely back patio. And Maureen was very helpful and responsive. Hope to return many more times!

We had a great stay at Aaron's home. Quiet neighborhood close to amenities the perfect spot for our trip. Aaron provides great recommendations for local spots to check out and was very responsive for our trip. A great place to stay if you are in Jackson or the surrounding area.

I am an Ann Arbor native and really like having nice, comfortable places there in the neighborhoods I know. This house is immaculate, well-equipped for living and cooking and is very comfortable. The neighborhood is nice for walking the dog and running, and is a short drive or bus to campus. It’s near a Kroger (supermarket) and lots of playgrounds. The backyard is fully fenced in and the deck is nice when the weather is good. Joseph was super responsive. All terrific!

The decor and space of the home was cozy and very comfortable. Cheryl was very kind and left breakfast for us! We thought the treehouse would be a little closer to the house, (about an acre away from the main house) so my adult kids were not happy about being in a separate space entirely, especially with no bathroom. I thought it was darling though.

I stayed at Suellen's place while my son was competing in Odyssey of the Mind at MSU and her place was just what I was looking for. The opportunity to chat with her during my comings and goings was an added bonus. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and private place to stay with a friendly host, I highly recommend booking with her.

Janice’s home was exactly what we needed to accommodate our family. Location was perfect and home was very comfortable! Would definitely stay again.

Jacque's place was great! We chose to stay there as it was in the same neighborhood as our family, but it was exactly what he described it to be. He was prompt, proactive, and easy to get in contact with. He was a wonderful host and we would stay again!

Ann Margaret was a wonderful host, checking in regularly to make sure everything was working for me. She and Judy left many special touches around the space (delicious breakfast treats, glass bottles of filtered water, a heavy duty ice scraper for my car) to make it feel like a very personal experience despite the ample privacy. I loved the space which was homey in an elevated way. It was a great retreat for a busy visit to Ann Arbor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Christine's place. It was very well located and convenient to everything. She was super responsive and accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.

This was my first Airbnb stay and it was great. The stairs are super steep, that’s my only concern because of my bad knee, but I’d still stay there again. The unit was very clean, organized and all the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The host was helpful and quickly responded. My flight was delayed almost 6 hours and he made sure the front light was on for me. 😊

Dinh was an amazing host! I was in town for a HS graduation at MSU. I was extremely close to campus, as well as the festivities for the weekend that I was attending. The neighborhood was pleasant and peaceful! I will definitely use this location again if I am traveling alone.
