Hen Ty Llaeth, Aberfforest, beachside & sea views

MandieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Mum and I had a fabulous week celebrating my birthday at Hen Ty Llaeth. We were extremely lucky with the weather and spent plenty of time sunbathing on the terrace and paddock, relaxed and swam on the wonderful private beach and we were so lucky to see a pair of dolphins jump right out of the sea in front of us, it was spectacular! The regular visits from robins singing their hearts out, bunnies bouncing in the paddock and a mischievous fox made our stay. The walk through the ancient forest to the waterfall was beautiful. I braved standing under it and wow what an amazing experience! A very comfortable spacious well maintained home as described in the listing by Moira who is a fabulous host. And not forgetting those amazing views from the house which are breathtaking. We’ve come home fully recharged and rested . Thank you so much Moira . 😊 Moira is a great host.

Quirky accomodation in beautiful Fishguard.

EllieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent a lovely weekend in the mouse house for my birthday this year. The place was super easy to find, and it was great to have parking outside. Inside was warm and welcoming, with everything we needed right there. The location honestly couldn’t be better for accessing the Welsh coastal path, which we loved. It was also very quick to walk up to the shops, pubs etc in Fishguard.

Cosy private cottage with beautiful views

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Really great location, photos don’t do the space justice - inside or out. The house itself is charming and feels so homey - loads of little touches like games to play, dvds, booklet of walks/beaches nearby. A bottle of fizz and Easter card on arrival made us feel right at home. Perfect retreat. Not pictured - the house is next to another cottage so not as private as the photos suggest but that didn’t bother us. Lambs and chickens in the field next door made for fun breakfast companions. Gorgeous house, really easy to find thanks to clear instructions & we would go back again.

Rustic Converted Mill in historic fishing village

GemmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is a hidden gem for a few days of relaxation. The cottage give cosy homely vibes and had everything we hoped for and more. The village is a short walk with lots of pubs and places to eat and the sea was a stone throw away perfect for our cold water dip in the mornings. I would highly recommend and Michael the host was very helpful and accommodating 😊

Lavender Cottage near Fishguard, Pembrokeshire

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This accommodation was in a beautiful setting on the family farm. It was spacious and had a lovely rustic feeling about it. Joanne and Richard were very friendly and helpful hosts. We enjoyed meeting the grandparents and of course Dottie the Border Collie. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful harbourside big detached historic house

StephenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
As a family including three generations, we all loved the accommodation, its location and many of the activities available in the area. The Fishguard area is beautiful, particularly the area immediately around the accommodation, retaining its historical atmosphere. Nick and Richenda responded quickly to our queries, and made sure everything we would have wished for was available in the house. A lovely place to stay!

Jen's Den

MargaretRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Jen's Den is a truly lovely find, a little gem, it's a private cottage in a farm setting with so many local walks but yet very close to beaches and village amenities. We didn't find and problems, Jennie made us feel very welcome from the start, she is so quick to reply to any questions and we were gratefully for the starter groceries! Our little dog was made welcome too! Thank you Jennie and family, we hope to come again! Marg and Rog, June '25
