Monthly Rentals in Loch Hourn

We loved our stay in Anns little cozy pod. The view from the porch and the hottub is amazing. Anns place is located about 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot from the town centre, and right on the circular walk of Mallaig (and there are also hikes further into up into the highlands reachable by foot from her place). Ann was an absolutely sweet, caring and responsive host! Would definitely recommend.

Cute cozy place with stunning views. We stayed 6 nights and would happily return. The Pod had everything you needed. The cooking facilities were great which we appreciated after a long day’s hike. The small touches such as fresh coffee, tea bags, milk, butter etc were much appreciated. Very clean. Felt right at home. Hannah was super responsive in relation to our queries.

We had a great experience! One of the highlights of our trip so far. Robin was very warm and welcoming and gave us some great recommendations. The bed was extremely comfortable and you can’t beat the fireplace. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer!

The Shepard's hut is compact but has everything you need. We didn't use the stove because we were warm enough without it. The views are tremendous and there is an enjoyable walk through the lodge grounds to the pier. Getting picked up from the pier and having our luggage taken back was fantastic. It was a bit exciting for someone who is not keen on cows to go to the loo and find cows blocking the way. However they are calm cows and are moved away easily (they were moved to the hill for summer grazing while we were there). All in all we had a great time.
