Waterfront holiday rentals in Loch Long

Our stay at John and Eleanor’s flat was very relaxing and comfortable. It was ideally situated for a walk along the seawall into town to go for meals or just to see the sights. It was a very quiet place to stay and was spotless upon our arrival. If I were someday to return to Largs, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for hosting us, Cheers!

Mandy is a great host always very quick to respond. We had a very comfortable stay in her spacious apartment. Everything you could want for a home from home. Position is ideal with Inverkip village a short walk away, with there local village hotel for something to eat and a few drinks. You can get the local bus from the village. There is also the Chartroom only a short stroll from apartment if you want somewhere closer to eat and drink. Inverkip train station is close to catch a train to Glasgow.

This apartment is gorgeous. Everything about it.... obviously it's location looking straight out onto the sea. near to the ferry over to Cumbrae. Very quiet street outside.... in fact, although the town was busy in the sunshine, it also retained its quiet family atmosphere. In the apartment everything was as described - a helpful welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and chocolate biscuits! Spotlessly clean, everything worked, good WiFi, and a responsive host to find out one or two little questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would hope to come back.

We all had a great time at Claudios flat. It is clean, comfortable and really homely. The view across the bay is stunning and there is always something happening on the water to watch. Claudio was very friendly and helpful when he met us to let us in and responsive to messages. All together an excellent break in a great location. Strongly recommend

We were delighted with the our stay in this Airbnb. The flat is beautiful, and the view overlooking the harbour is just perfect. We found that we had everything that we required for our stay in the flat. The location is ideal for all the amenities, 4 tea rooms on the street below. The weather was absolutely gorgeous which added to our enjoyment of our stay in Rothesay.

Highly enjoyable, but ideally it would have received 4.5 stars. The negative aspect of this apartment was the rather noisy boiler situated in the second bedroom.

Lovely place to stay. Chrissie gave very helpful instructions to find the accommodation as well as some good recommendations. Everything was as described and had everything needed for a quiet stay. Good fishing places nearby. Local cafe was great too. Chrissie was very friendly

Wallace Lodge was by far the most beautiful and peaceful of our entire trip. The house was the perfect mix of modern amenities with a rustic feel, everything from the private Loch to the sheep in the surrounding fields made our stay even that much better. Wallace was a most helpful and gracious host, from letting us check in s little early, to showing us how to work the appliances. The hot tub overlooking the private Loch was the icing on the cake for this amazing place. would definitely come back here for a vacation.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Absolute perfection- already trying to find dates to return. Beds were extremely comfortable, the place was completely spotless, property extensively spacious and the views! Oh my god, the views! Kitchen well catered for- Inc a Bosch coffee machine you should buy pods for. There is also a Webber kettle bbq outside. Hot tub was modern and just such a treat after the Glen Tarken hike. Secluded, peaceful, private property with a river at the bottom of the garden. Bright, airy, clean, well furnished accommodation. Loved the log burner. Very well attended clean hot tub. Owners were very attentive for any needs should they be required but not intrusive at all. The bedrooms were clean and well furnished with fully equipped bathrooms - upstairs and downstairs. Great towels provided. Plenty of space to have a quiet time inside or outside from the hot tub or seating area at the large table with chairs. Beautiful views of the river and fields through the French doors. Nice touch of freshly baked scones welcomed us on arrival. Unfortunately we could not spend much time enjoying the property over our 3 day stay due to our daughter’s wedding but we would definitely love to return again. A great property to spend time as a family with children as there is an outside play area for children and huge amount of board games and toys available in the house.

Lochranza is a lovely little village and Karen's house is right on the harbour with big direct sea views from the front room sofa...The house is ideal for two couples as we were, kitchen had all we needed for a couple of meals we had in. The Country Inn pub is just 2 minutes walk from the house and we received a friendly welcome there and had a great meal there too. The bedding in the bedrooms was great quality. Karen was very helpful with tips and information before we arrived. We had a marvellous stay and highly recommend Sea Breeze east.

The accommodation has everything you need and a lot more besides. It’s incredibly comfortable in every aspect. Views from the decking of the loch are stunning. We had a most enjoyable stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil location.

We loved our overnight stay here, very peaceful, great views of the river, much opportunity for wildlife spotting if we were here longer. We wouldn't hesitate to return and look forward to doing so. Beautiful food option too, which was a welcome surprise

Very happy with everything, was given everything we needed including glasses, cutlery, and even wee bits and bobs you might forget about. Beds were extremely comfy

We had a great time here. This was a birthday surprise for my cousin 70th birthday who has problems with mobility. Wendy communicated with me putting flowers, banners and a balloon to surprise her which was great. It was easy for my cousin to get around the property and the garden. Definitely would come back. Beautiful property in a stunning setting.

Smart flat very handy to the conference centre. Good size for 1 to 2 people... Everything works well including the washer dryer. Quiet neighbours, easy access.. WiFi excellent. Highly recommended and Scott was very helpful and fast.

Our stay was lovely. The view and location are fantastic, as we were able to walk many places and catch the hop on hop off bus nearby. We enjoyed the space when we spent time in as well, found it comfortable. The vinyl and record player were also a fun feature!

We love the flat, have stayed several times, suits all our family’s needs whose ages vary from 1 right up to 80!!

We were warmly welcomed by Cathy. She had bread and shortbread and jam ready for us. That she had made herself😋. The landlords were easily accessible when we needed them. The apartment had everything we needed and we received clear instructions on how to operate the equipment Furthermore, we had a fantastic view of Loch Long and the mountains. Beautiful garden and terrace with beautiful plants. And especially not to forget a nice one at 5 minutes walking distance to let the dog out. This is a place that we will definitely book if we visit the highlands again.😃

Easy to reach. Parking a little complicated due to the car repair people opposite. Helensburgh is so charming

Lovely setting, amazing views, over the loch, good communication from host before and during our stay well presented and clean housed 5 of us comfortably with extra space. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We absolutely loved staying here. The flat is a dream, perfectly furnished and decorated, with beautiful views (and bench seats for every view)! It was so well stocked, everything had been thought of, and Graeme made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, which we really appreciated. The guidebook made everything simple and straightforward, and we loved the recommendations - would second the recommendation for the community pub, and we had a great day trip to Loch Fyne Oyster Bar. A lot of local places were closed during our mid-week, off-season stay, but the flat and the surroundings were so beautiful that it didn't matter! It was the perfect place to cosy up in after walks in the Bute winds. We hope to be back.
