We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Soest! The place was incredibly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated — a perfect retreat surrounded by nature. The horses on the property added a unique and peaceful touch, and there was plenty to do in the area for nature lovers. What truly made the stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of the owner, Denise. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Nice, quiet stay in nature. Great to unwind and enjoy a little wellness. Sauna and Whirlpool worked well and the introduction from Peter was easy to understand and follow. There s bikes to lend at any time, the vacation home is conveniently located close to Putten. Thanks a lot for a relaxing stay.

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

The house is idyllically located on an island strip and can be reached by boat. Bas introduced us to everything uncomplicated and relaxed and we had a very nice holiday in the house

We enjoyed our short stay (2 nights) . Everything that was needed to make our stay pleasant was present and everything was very neat.

If you’re looking for a quiet and welcoming place to stay, this is the perfect spot. The four of us really enjoyed our time here. Peter-Jan gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and shared some helpful tips. While the routes along the canals make the journeys a bit longer, the travel time to Utrecht or Amsterdam is absolutely reasonable. We’d be happy to come back!

We had a great week at the chalet and really recommend staying there! The environment is very quiet and peaceful with lots of nature. Still you can easily reach cities like Amsterdam quickly. Maurice and Ashley are very kind and caring hostess, they always replied immediately to our messages.

The place is extremely nice. It is very quiet and nice. The garden is huge and super beautiful. Perfect for a big group! The hostess is extremely friendly. She had great tips for us. She helps wherever she can. You feel right at home. We will be happy to come back!

You can actually add nothing to the previous reviews: The house is in excellent condition (everything looks practically like new), excellently equipped and perfectly located for excursions to the entire region, even Amsterdam is just a stone's throw away. The air conditioning is great and should be used extensively in sunny weather. But the highlight is the canals that intersect directly in front of the house, where it was teeming with water and other birds of various kinds, now in June many with young; and on the pasture diagonally opposite the horses were grazing. If you like to look at, observe or photograph animals, you will get your money's worth here - take binoculars with you! The contact with Ireen was excellent, very nice and super fast! There are already many very good tips. So: Top, unconditional recommendation!

Ellen was an absolutely wonderful host! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and even took the time to share local recommendations and places to explore in the area, which made our trip even more special. Her kindness and warmth really stood out—she’s the kind of host who makes you feel right at home. Overall, a super lovely experience. Would absolutely stay again!

Ireen's apartment is wonderful, equipped with everything and impeccably clean. Very close to the wonderful Haar Castle and 20 minutes by car from beautiful Utrecht. Ireen is very hospitable and available to give you any advice. I felt right at home. Highly recommended.

A very special place. It is so unique that you can go there by boat. The house itself is super stylish and clean. The communication with Rogier was particularly pleasant: in other words, if you have the chance to rent it I would definitely do it: enjoy it!

Marian and Emile's place was really great for our family holidays. There was enough space, the garden is beautiful and the kids were able to let off steam on the huge trampoline. It is quiet, and the garden is really an oasis to relax and unwind. So beautiful green and private Willie, the hangover loved the kids. Communication with Marian and Emile was great. I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.
