Apartment holiday rentals in Loir-et-Cher

I cannot recommend this home more. Arnaud was the most welcoming host, inviting us to dine with his family and learn about the history of the house. He was thoughtful and kind. I wish we’d had more time to talk! I know that we’ll be back. The weather was typical Loire spring (on and off rain, hot afternoons followed by cool evenings) and I’d love to come again and spend even longer here. I didn’t get enough of the gardens and walking along the property. It’s also so easy to get to anywhere you need to go for riding bikes or visiting cathedrals or chateaux. I can’t recommend it enough!

This place, is great. Although it’s small, it is very functional and has more than adequate bathroom space. It’s lovely and so clean! It was a great stay. The free parking lot across the street usually has places free (especially in the evenings and mornings), but once, returning early from a day of driving to chateaus, I found the lot full so had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up. It wasn’t long. People staying in other towns come to see the castle and Leonardo Da Vinci’s house, so it may be more crowded around mid-day. Also, the roll out bed was a bit firm for my taste, but I still slept well and it’s nice to have the floor space during the day (easy to pull out/put away). The 2 windows face the river, have shades, and open to a lovely breeze - I didn’t need the AC at all and preferred the fresh air. The stairs are quite steep and curve around, but I didn’t have any issues getting luggage up - just don’t be too ambitious taking everything at once, they’re narrow.

Great historic accommodations for two couples.

The cottage is pleasantly decorated , and soothing. Coming for a short stay join family nearby , we only "tested" the bedding (excellent) and the bathroom (superb and functional). If the Kitchen is well equipped with appliances, crockery and utensils, as far as we are concerned we only use the coffee maker and the refrigerator (the change of which is announced because it has run its time). Come back? no problem if the opportunity arises

A wonderfully quiet base in a vibrant town. Super nice to do groceries in Les Halles to then be able to cook at home, interspersed with dinner parties outside the door. From the house, you can walk into the city center in a few minutes or cycle out of town to go along the Loire. The house is really recommended to everyone and offers a huge comfort. Highly recommended!!

We had a great one night stay recently at Fanny’s property. The apartment was larger than I expected, and filled with natural light. Fanny was a responsive communicator and the check in and out process was very smooth. It was also very helpful to have a washing machine to utilize during our road trip! Many thanks Fanny.

The place is really well equiped, laundromat downstairs is also very convenient. Right in the middle of beautiful Vendome. Loved the area and great as a base for exploring Loire Valley and all it has to offer. Great communication and flexibility from host.

Corrine was a wonderful and thoughtful hostess during our stay in Blois. She met us at the bus station, drove us to the apartment and helped with getting our luggage to the third floor. Also drove us to the car rental office when we left. She prepared her apartment for our visit and it was impeccable, well equipped and quiet all the time we spent there. She also provided numerous personal care items, and some basic snacks, which were a godsend, to start our forthcoming lengthy visit to Europe! Corrine responded to our questions and needs immediately, which was so reassuring to us. Corrine, it was a pleasure to meet you and we'll definitely want to stay in your abode in the future! Very nice accommodation, located in the historic center of the city. I really recommend it.

Carla was a great host for my one week stay. The location was amazing and peaceful with a view of cathédrale saint louis right outside the windows. A short walk brought you right to the city center with plenty of restaurants to visit, and Carla gave me an extensive list of her recommendations including price points and distance from the accommodation. The unit itself was exactly like the photos and had everything I needed to be comfortable. I’ll definitely be booking this unit again if I visit the loire valley in the future.

It was just as advertised except for the fact that we didn’t really feel that safe coming home at night cause there were homeless people yelling at us if we wanted to come in. Everything else was great

Modern and peaceful flat. Comfortable bed, luxury shower. If you’re touring the Valley of the Kings this location is perfect. Amboise is a lovely, quaint French village offering numerous and varied dining choices. Second floor flat with no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs.

My husband and I had a most delightful stay in Amboise. The apartment is absolutely lovely! It is well designed, decorated and sparkling clean. The view from the living room window is stunning. The beds are very comfortable. The location is excellent. Pierre is a wonderful host he is very thoughtful and accommodating. This is one of the best accommodations we have had the pleasure of staying in.

We absolutely loved our time at Stephanie’s. The accommodation is beautifully designed and extremely comfortable; great bed, great shower, lovely kitchen and a stunning view across the fields. Stephanie (and Oscar) made us so welcome and had brilliant suggestions to make the most of our time in the beautiful Loire Valley. Thank you Stephanie for a very special time. We were sorry to leave and hope we are able to return again soon.

This apartment is a small functional nest, well-equipped, close to Les Halles and restaurants. A favorite for its small outdoor space with pretty plants. Autonomy of arrivals and departures and responsiveness of Tom, all you need to have a pleasant short stay. I recommend it.

We had a great weekend, the apartment is right next to the festival of the gardens of chaumont sur loire. The jacuzzi and sauna allow a relaxing break. We can only recommend it.
