Barn accommodation in Loire Valley

We booked a stay during the motorcycle GP. We had very offbeat schedules, but the host prepared everything and adapted so that we could arrive at any time. The space was spotless and very comfortable. We were able to spend a good night quietly after the madness of the circuit. Breakfast was always ready and available from the old age so that we could be self-sufficient. The products were great. We had a great time, thank you so much! We recommend ++

We had a great weekend with friends. Spacious, clean and functional house in a quiet and relaxing environment. The pool is a real asset. Katia and Christophe are very welcoming and available.

Very nice welcome from Christine who, having been unable to make herself available to welcome us, had prepared the stove: all that was left was to light the match! The accommodation is clean, functional, warm and spacious: perfect for taking a break, whatever the weather. We also took advantage of our stay at Christine's to go to Puy du Fou, located 25 minutes from the accommodation. The exchanges with Christine are warm and jovial, thanks again for everything!

Beautiful space very well decorated, and beautiful garden with lots of animals to meet in the courtyard! We had a wonderful stay, and Geneviève was very attentive! Bonus: great choice of equipment and games for children!

We had a great time at Château des Hommes. The environment is very beautiful and the hosts are very kind. Albine and her whole family do everything to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Breakfast is hearty and the bedding is very good. We loved it and will be back with pleasure! 🥰

The house is very spacious with everything you need including for the garden which is very beautiful and pleasant to walk around. Pierre is an available and welcoming host. 30 minutes from Saumur, the house was ideally placed for this Ascension bridge.

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation! Loved every minute of our stay and felt totally spoilt being able to use the pool and relax in the gardens whenever we wanted. Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to unwind. Highly recommended, we will be back!

We stayed with Julie, Simon and Carol for 2 weeks. We loved the location it is stunning, the area is very peaceful surrounded by fields full of sunflowers. Julie is a great host and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to do our own thing. The pool was amazing, the house was very comfortable and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. We took Monty our Springer Spaniel and he absolutely loved the location, he had so much space to roam free plus a close by watering hole to cool down in the heat, as well as enjoying the company of Julie’s two dogs, Martha and Nancy. The private garden with BBQ was great and we spent many nights watching the sunset across the fields. We wanted 2 weeks of complete relaxation and this is what we got. Supermarket is very local with lots to see and do all on your doorstep! A lovely holiday had by all! Monty definitely gave it the thumbs up! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay. When I reached out to Albine, to give her an ETA, she messaged back soon. She was very welcoming, with clear instructions for entering the room and breakfast. Our room was a large comfortable space with good light, screened windows to let the clean country air into our room. We kept the windows open the entire stay to hear crickets, birds, thunder and rainstorm. Beautiful countryside estate with castle ruins on the property to explore. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but Albine had placed "pool towels" in our room, just in case. As a guest, you need to know, you are really in the country. The closest town that we frequented was Langeais and Villandry, with each having at least one chateau to visit and plenty of restaurants, chocolate shops, bakeries, and casual places to get a drink and a french style sandwich. This was a good base to do our daily exploring. Albine had many suggestions and knows the history of the area extremely well. Thank you Albine. Hope to visit soon!

Geneviève was super welcoming, her house is large, super clean, and she has plenty of pets (including a pig). There are many games inside and outside so the children will be delighted. The breakfast offered is excellent. In short, I found it very Airbnb from before, with a host who welcomes you in person at her home and chats naturally with you. It was a great stay!

We were welcomed very warmly. Communication has always been good. The apartment was impeccably clean and located in a very quiet area. We've rarely slept so well in an Airbnb. Caroline and her family are very warm people, if we return to the area, we will return without hesitation.

Peaceful haven, perfect for a restful night after a long drive! Helene and her husband are very welcoming, the place is beautiful and of great quality! Located a few minutes from several castles, the location is perfect for visiting the surroundings in a few days. I highly recommend it!!

Good place to stop off at on our travels

We had a very good stay with friends in this beautiful barn, tastefully renovated. The living room is spacious and the garden is huge and quiet, perfect for children. Close to Tours and the Loire Valley castles. Easy communication with Julien, who was very accommodating with the departure schedule. Thank you

It is a wonderful stay, very nice, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of attention to detail. Very nice also with the donkeys. Hostess was very thoughtful! In the area we didn't find much to do, but for this property I would definitely come back.

We were very well received and welcomed by Anne. This farmhouse has delighted young and old. We were able to visit the farm under the guidance of Anne, who gave us explanations that were both very interesting and informative. We had the chance to see calves, the last of which was born 3 days before our arrival. There is also the donkey Trot-Trot, the pony Sonic, the cats, the goats... A picnic and barbecue area was very useful, not to mention relaxing in the jacuzzi. I highly recommend this place, and I will gladly return. Thank you to Anne and her little family!! It was a real pleasure.

We stayed 5 friends at Sylvie's place and had an amazing time. The house is absolutely beautiful. Everything was super clean and convenient. The kitchen has everything you need. And it's garden and backyard was absolutely stunning. The village is very quiet and easy to get from there to many other beautiful areas in the Loire region. We would love to come and stay there again.

A home in perfect condition, exceptionally beautiful, both inside and out. And even more beautiful in real life than in the photo. An unbeatable view of the fields all around with beautiful fruit trees. The accommodation is next to that of the owners but remains very intimate. We stayed in this accommodation with friends for a weekend, and it was perfect. Between the pool, and the jacuzzi available. The sun was out, which obviously added to the good times we shared. Several activities and outings possible around Chinon (16km) from the accommodation, which is very nice. We were greeted by Anne upon arrival. Very kind and welcoming. Thanks again for everything. It was great! 🤩
