Condo holiday rentals in London Borough of Croydon

A huge thank you to Holly for opening her home to us for two weeks. We were in the process of moving from the U.S. to the U.K. which has been very stressful. Holly was super communicative from the start, I ended up adjusting our reservation by a couple days and she replied quickly. The unit was beautiful, wonderfully furnished and with gorgeous period details. Unfortunately our dog struggled a bit with barking, as there were builders putting up scaffolding and working next door, not the host's fault at all! But the noise did lead to our dog barking more than we were prepared for. Holly was very understanding, even though I think we got her in trouble with management. The area is super walkable and just 5 minutes from a Tescos and many great cafes and food options. The back garden is very private and quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciate Holly's help with everything!

Fabulous apartment, spotlessly clean, modern and stylish, extremely comfortable, lovely kitchen and bathroom, great bed, off-street parking, and excellent communication. Oh that all Airbnb's were as clean and comfortable as this one - highly recommended.

The conceirge was very respectful, responded to whatever questions/concerns that were addressed. If something was needed and you made Joe aware, he took care of it immediately. The stay there was very pleasant, lots of eating places and places to shop nearby.

Marianne was a great host: excellent communicator and very accommodating. The space (or rather, the apartment bloc of which it is a part) actually has its own Wikipedia entry, as an early 2000s effort in ecologically friendly development.

I stayed at James’ flat in Carshalton for 2 weeks. It was a perfect place for me to get to know this beautiful, picturesque Sutton town and it was literally minutes away from the railway station and it took me only 28 min to get to Central London on the train. The flat was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. I felt at home as soon as I arrived. I was able to use all common areas. James was an excellent host while I stayed in Carshalton. He made me feel welcome. He gave me detailed information about the area such as where to find local shops, where to dine, how to get back home, etc; answered all my questions and helped me with my journeys. I would highly recommend James’ place for anyone.

What a wonderful flat! Very comfortable stay, spacious kitchen and living area, well equipped. Loved the balcony. Easy to get to the city with the train, convenient stores around for groceries. Megs also helped us with finding a suitable taxi service for our early morning flight. Would stay again!

Jo’s flat was a wonderful place to stay for a few days!! It certainly lived up to the description- it was quirky and bohemian with lots of nice touches!! Jo was a wonderful host also, always quick to respond to any questions and she let us help ourselves to anything in the kitchen including any food- which was a really nice touch and saved us some pennies too !! The location was great too, I grew up here so felt right at home but it was private and a short 10 min walk to South Croydon station that takes you directly in to central London in 20 mins! It was a lovely place and I can’t recommend it highly enough!!

Accommodation matches the photos and description. Very clean. Located in a lovely, settled neighborhood. Nice decor, very cocooning. We felt at home there! 10/15 min walk to the train station. Super nice owner! I recommend it and if we come back to London it will be to this place😉. Thank you Claire

Highly recommended and great value. This was a great find. The roof terrace has wonderful views of the London skyline/landmarks and Mark was a great host. We used the buses (10 mins walk to bus stop) and Ubers to get around - both really easy from the apartment. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern and clean. There is lots of tech in the apartment which was fun and easy to use. The kitchen is really well equipped and the sofa is very comfortable. very minor note: People who are significantly higher than average height or width may find the rooftop access staircase a challenge. The apartment itself is really spacious.

David’s place was amazing. It had every comfort you could want. David was incredibly helpful and responsive at every stage. The information he provided was extremely detailed. We thoroughly enjoyed and stay and would love to return again soon.

My daughter and friend had a wonderful stay. They loved the beautiful artwork and furniture. It was fun, gorgeous, comfortable in every way. Super location. 5 🌟 and above would highly recommend.

Fantastic location. Close to the very cosmopolitan Brixton market. Very easy walk to the tube, trains and buses. We bought Oyster cards at the tube station which made travel around Greater London seriously easy and efficient. The accommodation had everything we needed plus more. Heaps of books to read of that is your inclination - I found the range fascinating. The patio is a nice area to chill on those nice warm London afternoons. Shall stay here again when we return to London.

The flat is very cozy and the location is perfect. The flat is located in a nice house where the host lives as well and it has everything that you need for a short 2-person stay in London. It's not exactly downtown London, but the area is beautiful and it's easy to get into town from nearby stations. I would actually argue that there is no need to go to central London because the Peckham / New Cross / Nunhead - area in South London is worth a visit. Stephanie was very welcoming and nice and gave us some good recommendations to explore the area. Practical stuff: - The kitchen is small and basic, which is totally fine for a short stay. - Make sure to find the right door when arriving to the flat.

The location was absolutely perfect! Beautiful building, lovely quiet street and close to absolutely everything! Loved the studio room with the terrace. It offered everything we could need and so comfortable. Quick responses! We would stay again and hope there is an opportunity to do so! Just great! The only thing to note that there is no lift just to be aware if stairs are an issue. Otherwise perfect!

Superb hub to explore Hampton court Palace. Highly recommend.

The flat is in walking distance to a lot of places including Greenwich and close to bus and train services. it is close to a plethora of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Antonio was responsive to any questions that I had during and before my stay within a short time. The flat is near to my family, so I'll definitely keep him in mind for future stays. I absolutely loved this location. It was a beautiful space with incredible views of London. Close walk to the underground to take you to central London.

We visited London for 4 days. Kate's apartment is adorable and even more beautiful in real than the pictures. The location is just outside London, but the center is easy to reach by bus and metro. Since it was high temperatures, the bathroom in the beautiful and clean pool just came to us. Communication with Kate is quick and excellent. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Kate!

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

John is a fantastic host-he went above and beyond and was extremely responsive to messages. We couldn’t work out the cooker (the timer needs to be set) and John was helping out despite the late time of messaging. We loved the recommended Sushi restaurant. The views from the apartment are amazing-we loved just popping out on the balcony. Location wise it was ideal. The main station Blackwall is a short walk away (6 ish mins) and the nearest underground Canary Wharf is around 20 mins which served us well. 😊

Lisa was a very welcoming.We turned up a little early so Lisa recommended a coffee shop to enable the apartment to be prepared. The apartment was clean and tidy and Lisa provided a few essentials to get us started eg bread/milk. Communication was excellent and we used her recommendations for local pubs eg The Cutty Sark and the visit to Greenwich Park. We were here to attend a concert at the o2 and location for this was good 25/30 mins walk. Overall perfect place for our needs.

Great location - the apartment was in excellent condition, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Silvia who checked me in and showed me the facilities (spa facilities, lovely swimming pool, gym,...) was lovely. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Having stayed with StarHost before, I can confidently say their service remains outstanding. I'll definitely book this place again in the future when in London.
