We had such a nice time staying here! What really stood out was how the house was laid out. Each room had its own vibe, which made the whole place feel special, like a real getaway. All the greenery inside made it feel super welcoming, and we loved how sunny it was during the day. Bonus - being right next to a gas station was actually perfect for when we needed to grab drinks or snacks quickly. Honestly, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat and would tell our friends to book it too!

Arriving & staying at Joanie's place is like entering Garden of Eden. Just seeing the wide smile & "ohh-ahh" from my parents who are visiting from a city country, they couldn't believe their eyes seeing real oranges on the trees!! Thanks Joanie! for making this the most memorable experience for my parents !! Bestest of Hostess !

Great location for visiting Sequoia. Pool was a bonus. Our host was very responsive and gave great checkin details with pictures. Inside was very clean and it was nice to have AC units in each room. The cottage has 2 living rooms - both withTVs - which is great for a family. Kitchen had mostly everything we needed - just lacked some small things like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, baggies (all things useful for packing lunches for the day). As the host notes and others have posted - the water is safe to drink - but definitely has a bad taste to it…even after adding Liquid IV to it. Some may be fine with it - but I’d recommend buying drinking water at the grocery store (we are big water drinkers). Beyond that - we still highly recommend this cottage!

Staying at Kermit's was like staying at my old grandparents' home. It was cozy, welcoming, homey, and it had absolutely everything we needed to cook great meals, spend time together, and have a blast doing so. The kitchen was well stocked, the grill was prepared and ready to go, the lights on the patio at night were wonderful, and the backyard had plenty for us to do. I have spent more money on Airbnbs for less than our stay at Kermit's, and I am happy to say that I would gladly spend a trip at Kermit's again!

Great place for our stay to visit the national parks. Spent so much time at the parks we didn’t get to chill in this great house as much as we would have liked.

We take a trip every year, mainly looking for something spacious, calm, and with a pool!! This was beyond perfect. We loved the amenities in the home and our swim time was great! How could we not love the park right in the backyard of the home? It was amazing!! I’m so glad we were able to stumble on this little gem! We will be back soon!!! Don’t hesitate!! BOOK!! Especially if you have littles!!!

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

Staying at the River's Edge cottage was an absolute gem! Carol and Rod have done a wonderful job making it beautiful and relaxing experience. The attention to detail is unmatched. The outside terraces and river access makes the stay at the River's Edge the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and even caught TWO rainbow trout from the balcony! Thank you for such a fun weekend and we can't wait to come back here again!

A Perfect Mountain Getaway for the Whole Family! Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this incredible mountainside home. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking panoramic views. Waking up to the sight of the mountains each morning was a truly special experience. The amenities were top-notch and provided endless entertainment for everyone. The kids (and adults!) spent hours in the fantastic game room, which was a huge hit. After a day of exploring, sinking into the hot tub while enjoying the stunning scenery was the perfect way to unwind. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family vacation. The host was also very communicative and helpful. We can't recommend this place enough and are already dreaming of our next visit!

Great stay! The place was very nice, very clean, and Leo was responsive with any questions I had prior to arrival. We appreciated the waters that were left for us in the fridge. It allowed us to relax a bit before going to the store for drinks and supplies, instead of having to go straight out. It was only like 10 min to the entrance of Sequoia National Park so that was also a big plus. Thanks for a great stay!

Kristen’s place was comfortable with extremely nice amenities in a clean home that is nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and everything is well taken care of.

This place is on another level of beauty and privacy. Showed up. Gate was open. The ac was already on. Place was spotless. Ice maker full with ice (huge win!!) Sit on the deck and just take in the best view around. I gotta to hang for a few min at club red. The kayak around the lake was amazing. This is a top notch compound. Incredible the paradise they have built in the middle of nowhere!! Only negative was I had to leave. Thanks Joyce and tony for your hospitality. I will be back!!!

I had a wonderful stay! The highlight was definitely the stunning view—it was even better than the photos. I loved the clean kitchen, which was well-stocked with utensils and tools. The yoga room had a peaceful atmosphere and was beautifully decorated—perfect for a morning yoga session. Joyce also recommended a nearby grocery store, which made it convenient for us to shop for food in the evenings and prepare our daily meals. I would definitely recommend this place for couples looking for a cozy and well-equipped place to stay.

The house was great - clean, cute, and welcoming. We would stay here again. The little coffee shop down the road was good and fun too. At the home there were lots of little extras like cookies, multiple types of pillows to choose from, and a push-pin map.

Great overall experience. The place is adorable and located less than a mile from gate to Sequoia NP. Lori was very friendly and responsive. Generous basket of “goodies”. Amenities were as described. Enjoyed having breakfast at the picnic table or sitting in the chairs outside our window overlooking “Lola’s Meadow” with deer, squirrels, wild turkey’s and birds. Met Lola’s husband, John, as he filled the bird feeders. Would definitely stay here again when in the area and would recommend to couples who just want a short getaway. Ate one night at the Gateway restaurant 1/4 mile down the road. Nice table for two outside overlooking the Kaweah.

Denise and Jack were great hosts and the house was well decorated with lots of amenities. Felt so peaceful and right at home. The hosts kept us complementary wine and eggs so we didn’t have to worry about eggs for breakfast. The house was fenced at the backyard for our pet to run around or soak in the sun. The mornings were so beautiful sipping a cup of coffee outside on the deck listening to the sound of birds and animals. So many variety of birds that visit the backyard along with rabbits, squirrels and the neighbors horses. It was so relaxing to come home after a long hike and soak in the hot tub. Very convenient location to visit both Kings Canyon and Sequoia parks. All in all it was a memorable stay. Would highly recommend their place.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home – it honestly felt like stepping into the pages of an interior design magazine. Every detail has been so thoughtfully curated – stylish yet warm, aesthetic yet completely functional. It made our (far too short!) visit incredibly comfortable and easy. Communication with Gerrit was excellent – kind, helpful, and responsive throughout. The house is located in a quiet, refined neighborhood, and stores are just a short drive away. It’s also a perfect base for visiting Sequoia National Park – the morning drive to the park entrance is pleasantly manageable. One of our favorite features was the lovely garden seating area, complete with an apricot tree that surprised us with its sweet fruit. A truly special place – peaceful, charming, and full of care. We would absolutely love to return.

We have stayed in many places along the 395 and Lone Pine, this is the best place we have stayed in thus far. Richard’s place is larger than what I expected and my baby, dog, husband, and I felt at home. The Alabama hills are perfectly situated to town and hiking/fishing. We walked the neighborhood with the dog and it’s wonderfully quiet and beautiful. Can’t beat it!

Absolutely loved our stay in the Aframe house. It was more than we expected. Beautiful views & perfect place to stay for sequoia national park. The only thing I regret is not staying longer! Highly recommend

This house was perfect for our group of 6 before and after we summited Mt. Whitney. We easily could’ve camped but we wanted real beds and showers with hot water and not having to worry about needing bear boxes for food. It’s a short 20 minute drive to/from the portal, so it couldn’t have been any easier or closer! The place looked like the pics and there’s tons of room for vehicles and for everyone to relax inside or outside together or separately.

This place was phenomenal. The surroundings were beautiful. The mountains were beautiful. The place was very well decorated. also, the host was really great, very responsive and very quick to help. If you want to get away from everything have some peace and quiet, I would definitely recommend.
