South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. Chy Bownder is a cosy semi-detached modern cottage in the centre of the old Cornish capital, Lostwithiel. It is tucked away down a quiet lane with easy and reasonably flat access to the town. It is family and dog friendly with a secure patio garden. One private parking space is provided. Additional parking is less than 50 meters away in the free car park. Beautiful scenic riverside and woodland walks are nearby as well as stunning Cornish coastline and beaches just a few miles away.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Nested within a rural picturesque valley on Bodmin Moor, The Wren is perfectly located in Cornwall and makes an ideal base for wedding guests attending Trevenna. Moorland walks and stunning lakes are all within close vicinity and both the North & South coasts are within a 30-40minute drive. The A30 & A38 are also easily accessible via car from the property.

Spacious countryside Carpenters Cottage near coast

Our self catering detached cottage is available all year round. A spacious ground floor cottage with views over the garden, it's own parking (with an outside electric socket) and patio area. Between Fowey & Lostwithiel in South East Cornwall. We have one super king size bed. We accept 2 medium sized dogs, by arrangement. The large garden is not fully fenced, we have a mixture of water, hedges and fences as our 3 acre boundary. The patio is completely fenced.
