Apartment holiday rentals in Lough Corrib

Jamie’s place was exactly as described! It’s right in the heart of Galway and perfect if you don’t have a car as you can walk everywhere. If you do have a car, the parking garage is very tight but Jamie does make you aware of that, being from the USA it was definitely a bit of a shocker but we managed. I wouldn’t let that stop you from booking this place. Beds were super comfortable and all appliances are new. I would highly recommend staying here, not a bad thing to report.

Great little spot. Short walk to a lovely beach, so peaceful and pretty. We were going to a wedding at the Connemara Coast hotel and it was a great base to do some further exploring from. Friendly and helpful hosts!

Michael was an excellent host, and the space is beautiful. stayed here with my dad to walk in The Burren and couldn't have had a more perfect base or host. very knowledgeable, lots of great recommendations. can only recommend

Martin was a good communicator and his apartment has a great location in Galway with off street parking. He had plenty of suggestions for bars and restaurants. The apartment is on the first floor and is very well presented and comfortable. Both bedrooms have a wash basin and the main bathroom has an excellent shower. As the general water pressure is low our expectation of the shower was not high, so we were pleasantly surprised! Bars, restaurants and main town are all within a few minutes walk. An added bonus is the large Tesco store literally 2 mins walk down the road, a great resource.

Elizabeth & Brian’s place was absolutely wonderful!! Bright and full of light and overlooks a beautiful bay! You can see both tide in and tide out. It’s an incredibly short walk to all shops, restaurants and bars. Clifton is such a fun town and so fun to explore! It is so close to castles, ruins, an abbey and all sorts of lovely site-seeing!! Communication was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!

Great apartment for enjoying all that Galway has to offer! Walkable to all the key places and very peaceful with wonderful views! Great for families, clean, comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay with Regina was wonderful it's a great little get away; nice, peaceful, relaxing and great views all around. Regina was the perfect host greeting us at the door making us feel very welcomed, giving us tips on what to do in the local area and leaving us some of her signature scones to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

From the moment Aine met us at the harbour to leaving our bags back to the boat on our departure she was the perfect hostess. The accommodation has a great well equipped kitchen with modern perfect appliances and all kitchen equipment was fresh and relatively new. The home made brown bread which is left in the kitchen on your arrival also deserves a special mention. All in all I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay in Foxford at Noelle's place. The river view is gorgeous. We had everything we needed to eat in but also great recommendations for local options - the cafe in the woolen mills has delicious options . Noelle's place was a great base to explore the area from and also to relax within. Comfortable beds, great shower and everything we needed. We hope to stay again in the future and highly recommend.

It was our second time at John's place and it won't be the last! Modern apartment in a perfect location on the Salthill prom. Everything you could need, modern and clean.

We had a lovely 2 nights at Sarah’s Airbnb but was very clean, tidy and spacious and had all the amenities required. Great location, short walk to Salthill beach, shops and restaurants. You can even walk all the way to Galway around the waterfront if you like a good walk. Sarah was very helpful and check in and out was very easy. Location was also quiet.

We had a really memorable stay. Tom and Christina were really helpful, friendly and very welcoming, every detail they gave was perfect. The studio was our perfect getaway, a very peaceful and quiet locality. We went by the recommendations given by Tom and Christina, they were all worth it. They also have two labs who were very loving and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here, the kind of place where you could have the most relaxed vacation :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is just perfect- you can walk to all the restaurants, and attractions - made it so easy to explore all the little winding streets. The view from apartment of the water is lovely which is an added plus. We had all the amenities to make it great stay. Having a washer and dryer was great on rainy days! The host is very responsive with suggestions and ideas. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Joselyn’s place - it was so comfortable, clean and convenient. Everything worked as it should have and we were sad to leave. Spacious lounge & kitchen area made us feel we could spread out and relax comfortably. Joslyn was super friendly and responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay a fabulous experience. Would love to come back one day.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

We had a great stay at Terry's, who was a super responsive and understanding host. The accommodation is perfect, simple and functional with a magnificent view of the sea. What a privilege to live in a place like this. Terry and his wife are charming, discreet and attentive. We will be happy to come back.

Mary was a very welcoming host- she was responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with, and left a wonderful welcome pack - including her delicious homemade granola. Mary was also very welcoming to our son and his wife who managed to fit in staying with us during part of our week's stay (they slept on a futon). They loved the place too! The flat is just outside Kinvara which is a lovely village, where, on Mary's recommendation, we listened to live trad Irish music and ate pizza one night. It's a great place from which to explore the burren (don't miss the lovely Russell Gallery and the nearby Flaggy Shore!). Thank you Mary!

This a great little spot to stay, great base to explore Clare, plenty of attractions, restaurants and local towns within driving distance. Theresa and Jerome are fantastic hosts, so friendly and responsive. Their place is so cozy and immaculately clean.

My stay at Myra's was wonderful!! The apartment is exactly as described and had everything I needed during my week long visit. I loved the location which was an easy short walk to town and with a grocery store just a few minutes away. Myra and her family were wonderful hosts of who made me feel at home. I highly recommend their place!!

We loved our stay in Galway! The apartment had unbelievable views and within walking distance to many pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Irene was a fabulous host. Communicated ahead of our arrival and gave great recommendations for Galway as well as our next stop of Dingle. The apartment was spacious and extremely clean. The West End location was perfect. Several pubs, restaurants, coffee shops as well as nightlife a stones throw away. Short walk to Eyre Square, the Latin Quarter and Woodquay. Would recommend a drink at Carrol's Bar just a couple doors down. Traditional Irish music in the front of the pub or more lively outside in the back at the beer garden, "Caravan Club". Would definitely stay at Irene's again.
