Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

The Cabot Trail is an hour away. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. Great unit for 2 people or 4. The guesthouse has an adjoining door in the middle that seperates each unit.

It is hard to imagine a b&b host doing a better job than Cynthia and John did. They also keep a really nice home. It is also a large home. It has nice land around it and it's at the end of the small road. I'm very thankful to have booked with them.

I would recommend this location. everything was exactly as I expected. I felt very safe, relaxed, and comfortable here. Great location. It's a cozy apartment. Well priced. And the host was very responsive and helpful. Anytime we needed toilet paper, instructions, or fresh towels, Robbie got us what we needed. I would visit again.

What a beautiful week we had at this perfect little cottage! We enjoyed our time so much and will be sure to come back if we ever get the chance. Gabarus is pretty and sleepy and we had the best time exploring the surroundings, just behind the cottage, as well as the public Gull Cove Trail nearly. We took advantage of the beautiful fire place to cozy up inside, enjoyed a bonfire outside and even took a quick dip in the sea at the beach close by. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen where clean, cozy and more modern than you would expect them to be in a remote little cottage like this. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

We had a lovely stay and truly appreciated all the thoughtful amenities provided, especially everything available for preparing meals. Having laundry was a great convenience, and the unit was exceptionally clean. The hot tub was a relaxing bonus after long days of exploring. The big screen tv was perfect for catching the Stanley Cup Finals game while we were there too! The location was perfect for visiting the Fortress of Louisbourg, the Highland Village, and driving the beautiful Cabot Trail. It was also very convenient for catching the ferry to Newfoundland. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
