Cabin holiday rentals in Louisville

This place was fantastic for our small group’s trip to Louisville! It’s one of those places that is apart of the trip, somewhere you look forward to being back at, and not just a place to crash at the end of the day. There’s so much to do here, big props to Rachel and her co-hosts for creating such a great place to stay, would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely beautiful! The house was exactly like the pictures. The host was very prompt in responses and clear with instructions for check in and out! Would recommend this place any day!

The only thing that needs repaired are the steps up to the pool and the steps getting out of the pool, they are broken from the deck. Other than that it is great place and we plan to try to stay here again when in the area.

I'm 100% recommend her place. The hot tub was absolutely amazing. her response time is so fast and she's very accommodating. next time we come through we will be staying with her again.

The house was more than what we needed for just the two of us, but it was quiet, peaceful, and close to several of the distilleries. We had one hiccup during the stay and Scott and Ryan were quick to respond to make things right. If and when we’re back in the area, I would not hesitate to book this property again.

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

Our sales team has stayed at almost every air bnb in this area. This is simply the best. The cabin is so great we even brought our family’s down from Indy so they could check this place out. From the fire pit, hiking trail, multiple entertainment rooms, hot tub, game room ext this place has it all. Clean peaceful settiing but close to everything. The host are awesome. Host helped us start a fire one night. We became freinds and hung out with them later. They even have snacks when you walk in. Such a cool log cabin. Could comfortably sleep 8-10. Look forward to staying again. Thanks guys

This was the PERFECT stay for my bachelor party weekend. Not only did it provide great access to the bourbon trail, but it was basically a summer camp for a group of guys. The amenities and games were BETTER than the photos and we had so much fun. Not only that, but it was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The property is beautiful, tranquil and scenic. I can't recommend this airbnb highly enough for any situation like mine. Dustin, thank you for your quick communication and helpfulness. Your airbnb really helped create memories that will last a lifetime.

Tina and Wendell (I think was his name ) . Amazing amazing people . Really enjoyed having them around to talk . Horse shoe pits are amazing . The fire pit amazing . Even the cats were friendly and loving . So peaceful . Tina gave us jar of sauce for our dinner . Would love to come back for visit . Thanks for having us .

Cozy and comfy cabin, however,no washing machine as indicated in the ad. It matters if you want to stay longer than a weekend. Overall,great place for great outdoors with even greater purpose of supporting and honoring our soldiers.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived in town a little early and we were very thankful that we were able to check in early. I would definitely recommend the property. We saw a lot of turkeys and one deer.

Adorable and affordable. Fire pit was amazing with lots of wood provided. Inside was cozy and modern but with a rustic charm. The perfect cabin in the woods.

Absolutely gorgeous historic cabin to stay for a few days. We stayed here for our anniversary a couple nights and wish we had longer. Well manicured landscaping (perfect for some grounding), ample seating in a variety of areas to enjoy both inside and outside. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the birds from both the back porch and the seating by the natural spring pond. The history connected to the home left behind was well preserved and you can tell it is well cared for. If you're looking for a peaceful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is where you stay! We enjoyed listening to the birds, frogs, cicadas, and more without the sound of TVs or radios. We've already recommended it to our friends for a getaway. PS. Don't forget to take some time getting a closer look at the spring house! You can also look at some pics inside of what the cabin used to look like and what Donald has done to clean it up to bring the whole space back to it's natural beauty!

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Beautiful little Cabin with so much history inside. Full kitchen, Cozy living area, sleep number bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, so many flowers, plants, trees, just perfections and very quiet. Tammy and Jane greeted us as we checked in and showed us around. Tammy also made us breakfast every morning, fresh and homemade and even a to go basket on our last morning. The neighborhood is very peaceful. We were visiting for the derby and wished we had more time to enjoy this little peace of beauty!

What a wonderful property! The historic house was beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and just great for all ages. The grounds are beautiful. Lots to do outside! Not one, but three play sets for the kids! Yard games for the adults. Lots of wood for a campfire! Tim & his wife are very friendly, kind caring folks! A group of 11 adults toured the Bourbon Trail with this as our home base. Each couple had a great, comfortable space and the beds were great. We sat in rocking chairs on the covered porch drinking coffee and reading in the morning, did some bourbon tours or enjoyed pool time in the afternoons, and enjoyed great outdoor meals and bonfires/pokernights/game nights in the evening. Everyone had fun, relaxed, and enjoyed their stay! The only downside are the curvy dangerous roads and distance to things from the property, but that isn’t Melissa’s fault. It was the perfect spot for us other than that!

We have stayed at many Air bnbs. This is by far one of our favorites. We have stayed in cabins in NY, TN, ME, MD, and PA. The description is as described. But the pictures dont do enough justice on the wonderful home. The privacy is great. Its so quiet. Just so peaceful. We traveled here on a family trip to support our niece in a national competition. We all had enough space without feeling crammed. Loved the porch to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The hot tub is a nice advantage as well to relax after the long car ride there. Julie was extremely responsive and proactive with communication. Julie thank you for allowing us to be in your beautiful home. You have a beautiful family as well. As a mom with 2 boys and 1 girl just like you. Thank you. We look forward to hopefully returning in the future.
