A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

Overnight stay due to connecting flights. Place is very close to the airport (6 euros by u-ber or 1,85 by bus or metro). Dog and noisy neighbors a bit of a problem. Small but comfortable room, nice bathroom, kitchen fine (coffee and water provided), Wi-Fi very fast. In the morning, go to a place nearby but do have cash (no card accepted), coffee and plain cake for 2,20 euros). I definitely recommend Rafael’s place for a short stay.

Good location; close to metro, supermarket, and free parking just across the street if you come by car. The only thing we didn’t know was that the dryer makes a whistling sound while operating; I didn’t know that until the next day when I used it myself and had a restless sleep the night before due to the sound. Hence, would be ideal if you can talk to the other guests to not use it at night time if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, everything was fine.

It was one of the best places I've ever booked. The host gave me all the support. The room was great. Very organized and 100% clean apartment. All aspects of my stay were very positive. It was well worth it and I highly recommend it. If I ever return to Lisbon, it will definitely be the first place I will look for. It is close to the train station. There is a market nearby, a pharmacy, restaurants and everything else. It's a little further from downtown Lisbon, but it's easy to get there. Note 1000!
