KerryRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This beautiful property was perfect for our family of 5. The beds are comfortable, the living space is relaxing & the kitchen has everything we needed & more to easily prepare meals. The location and views are stunning and within a short walk to the pub and local shop. The sighting of deer was an added bonus. Would highly recommend

We stayed here when we were visiting the area for a wedding. It was a great location and incredibly clean and tidy. Staying here made the 7 hour drive from Devon very worth it and we would stay again if we’re ever in the area!

Great clean apartment, everything what you need you will find inside (coffee/tea/ cutlery .. everything ) Clean bed and nice towels One nuance, only hot water comes out of the shower, I don’t know why and how 😃 But generally, it was great stay

The Farmhouse was a wonderful place to stay. With off road parking for 2 cars, easy entry and plenty of space downstairs and upstairs. 3 double bedrooms (huge wardrobes), 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo; huge wardrobes and plenty of space we wished we were staying longer. The kitchen was extremely well equipped; thanks for the wine and milk, and we felt very at home from arrival. Very easy to find and only a couple of minutes from the M6, yet off a local main road which is pretty quiet, especially at night so didn't disturb us. Seating front and back means you sit out in any sun, whatever the time of day. I'd love to be there in colder weather to be able to enjoy the fire and snuggling up on the sofa with the blankets and sheepskins - although I know it would be warm enough these wouldn't actually be needed! Mich was very helpful when I had questions in advance of booking. A real gem of a home and a place to return to.

We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away

A beautiful stay in a wonderful village outside Carlisle, the cottage is immaculate and beautifully furnished. Very well equipped with everything you need and the beds are just so comfy with beautiful linen. There is a pub, restaurant and hotel pub restaurant, also a little shop/postoffice/ tea shop which is great if not wanting to drive. I fully recommend this property to rent.
