Large Beachfront Holiday Escape 30 min to Wgtn CBD

Large private getaway within a family home. Guests enjoy a private entrance from driveway; a large private lounge which also has a double bed, a private double bedroom with queen bed, a private bathroom and kitchenette. Cosy heating and electric blanket. Across the road is a safe swimming beach, a children's playground and summer pool. You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. (bike shed pencarrow com) (the boatshed days bay com) Buses go every 30 mins to Wellington City and Lower Hutt city. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. (bikeshed pencarrow com) We are 4 mins walk to an entrance of the National Park with extensive and beautiful bush walks. Quiet family of 3 live at the property but guests enjoy all private amenities in separate apartment within the home. Continental breakfast provided. Families are welcome.

Welcome to the Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 4 minute drive down to Petone Station where there is free parking, jump on a train for a 12 minute trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (6 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. From here it is a 15 - 20 minute drive to ferry terminals and CBD. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was lovely, clean & big enough for our purpose. I have mobility issues & unfortunately we were unaware of the stairs . Kevin was very very obliging and allowed us to move from unit 3 to unit 2 as I then did not have as many stairs to climb, we appreciated this very much & hope the stairs will be put into the ad somewhere. We would definitely stay again as there is a unit on the ground floor so we can request this Very very convenient location also We would rate this place 5 stars

This was our 2nd time staying in an Ohana property and again it was amazing!! Comfy and home like!! Hosts were fast at replying and made our stay super easy!!! Great location only a 10 min walk from train station!!! Parking wasn’t hard to find either. 10/10 would recommend & stay again❤️

Maria hosted myself and 2 friends for our girls Wellington getaway, and she was the most incredible host! Her house was so lovely—clean and cozy with some great extras like TVs in each room and breakfast available. She went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and well set up. Would absolutely recommend her as a host and would happily stay again anytime I’m in Wellington!

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was super comfortable and everything was neat and clean. We felt at home right away. Pat had switched the electric blanket on which was thoughtful seeing we were making a winter visit. I would happily stay there again.
