Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lower Hutt

I booked at the very last minute at 6:30pm on the night and the host responded so quickly. I am so grateful because this old house is very unique with plenty of history. Awesome views that you never get tired of. Walking distance to every where. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the property and bedrooms rooms up on 2nd level so if you have old or bad legs this could be a problem. Not a problem for me at all though & I am nearly 60. Thanks for a great stay and sharing your family home with me.

Large and spacious house with a huge kitchen. We loved our time at Liz’s place.

We really enjoyed our stay here and particularly loved the cosy wood burner and the incredible view, with the sound of waves. Paekakariki is a perfect and relaxing holiday destination. We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely stay, felt like home. Warm and welcoming. Added bonus of portable cot use and toys to entertain the kids. Has all you need to enjoy and relax. Spacious enough for my Whanau. Very responsive helpful hosts.

Our stay was perfect. Nicola is such an amazing host, giving us extra recommendations for the time with our kids. The location of the house is perfect. Awesome views to the sea and just an easy stroll to the playground and the beautiful Queen Elizabeth park. The house itself got everything we need, we felt super comfortable all the time. Excellent stay, quality linen responsive and flexible host we flew in early and she was happy with early check in, made a significant refund cause coffee machine wasn’t working such amazing service tidy house, excellent facilities and a very warm house would recommend.

The views the views the views! The private cable car was such a fun amenity! Elenor was so easy to talk to- we had a slight heating issue and she was quick to jump on a call and offer up solutions-it was so kind and generous The house is large and spacious and we loved walking to the botanical gardens from he house. Would happily stay again is ever passing through Wellington again.

Great place to stay and close to everything we needed it to be. easy ealks to shops, restaurants and the beach. Very comfortable bed and living area set-up was great. Very impressed.

We had a great time at Sue’s apartment. It was in a good location - note that it is in the city and there is the usual city noise during the night. The beds are very comfortable. (It would have been good to see a photo of the steepish stairs up to the two mezzanine bedrooms so we could plan a bit before arriving). The fire was wonderful and the kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances. Happy to recommend but it is important to note that there is only one bathroom. We didn’t think it would work for 6 couples. Overall we had great time and enjoyed the apartment.

Amazing B&B in a great location! Place was immaculate and we loved the sauna and steam shower. Great location. Walkable to a lot of bars, breweries, restaurants, and grocery store. Sally was extremely helpful with local recommendations. Instructions were clear, easy to follow, and thorough. Highly recommend this place!

Sally provided a place that exceeded our expectations. we had an absolutely wonderful time and can't fault her. As a Wellington resident for 14 years who booked it for his parents while they were travelling I can't recommend this enough. Sally's apartment was perfect for our four night stay. Great location, which was surprisingly quiet at night for sleeping. Convenient parking spot right outside the front door. Beautifully furnished and spacious living area. Bedroom/ensuite comfortable with good space for luggage and good sized wardrobe. Washing machine and dryer were appreciated too. Would book again for sure.

Alexandra and Matt are very welcoming, as their house and their garden, also Frankie the cat. For us this wonderful place was the perfect start for our new zealand round trip. We are a family of 4 who had just moved to Wellington from overseas. We stayed here for 2.5 months. Place was a great set up. Lovely to live in. Close to things and was a cute little character home. Price was great considering it was a long stay and the owners were so supportive of us. Heating was fantastic. Was definitely our favourite airbnb out of the 4 we stayed in during our wellington time. Best value for money. And it had car parking on site - so important. Could fit 2 cars there!!! Would recommend. Plus they gave us a fold out bed so we could sleep our 2 kids in the second bedroom. Very grateful for this airbnb helping us out whilst we found permanent accommodation!

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Very accurate description on the listing of what it was like to stay with Allie in Wadestown. I was there for a fortnight and became adjusted to the routines yet felt very undisturbed. It really suited my requirements at the time.
