This is my 2nd time staying at Emily’s, I love it. It feels like you’ve just returned home with all the homely touches. Close to the city and all the amazing cafes. It is an old building with all of the old charm.

Lovely place. Lots of space. Very comfortable bed. We were attending a wedding nearby so the location suited us very well.

We had a comfortable stay at Rhys' apartment, it was close to the city center, very clean.

Stay was comfortable. Room was clean and all amenities were present. I initially did not bother much about breakfast supplies but I must tell that it was life saving! I used to rush out for work and Bread and Butter with jam saved my life. Location is great! I wish I could stay there forever.

I highly recommend Sally's place, the Griffin Inn, to anyone wishing to stay in tranquil surroundings in the Porirua area. It's on the north side of beautiful Tītahi Bay, with an amazing clifftop walk just up the hill for you and / or your dogs. It's a short walk to the beach itself. Sally place is a separate small house set beside the family home, and despite the name is not an inn as such but rather a dedication to her mum and the family name. It is immaculate, cozy, well presented, tucked away in a sheltered little oasis and has a nice covered outside area for relaxing. Sally is a wonderful, friendly and open-hearted host and she made us feel very welcome indeed (myself and my dogs). If Sally is not onsite her daughter Kim will look after you to the same standard, and her son Dave might even look after your dogs if you need (he runs a doggy daycare business). Highly recommended for singles, couples, small families and people with pooches. Would stay again for sure.

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday at Louise’s place. Fish were caught down at the coast, we went for forest walks and enjoyed the wonderful views while relaxing. When the weather was sunny we ate out on the deck and enjoyed the sunny location while playing petanque. When the weather was not so good we played pool, darts and cards, and relaxed inside. The spacious layout suited our grown-up family perfectly - a great mix of communal and private spaces. Sitting in the bath looking out on view was a highlight. The kitchen was also well equipped and we cooked Christmas dinner on the deck barbecue. The driveway is steep but our Mazda 3 handled it fine. Overall, the location feels secluded, but close enough to Wellington for visits.

Absolutely love the place. It would be great to have a heat pump to warm the place up for safety reasons especially when taking children or toddlers. The dryer did take a long time to dry washing but still recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to Wellington for a weekend away or for work.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind after a busy day, whether it's work or a stroll. Wake up refreshed and ready for a day of city exploration in this clean, sunny home with stunning views. Step outside and wander the winding paths to soak in local experiences, then sleep well in the cozy bedroom. Ken is a thoughtful, intelligent, and knowledgeable host who keeps his home clean and has turned it into an unforgettable home art gallery with a wealth of original artwork. Thanks, Ken! Hope to stay again in your House.

Shaun was a great host, scenery was so amazing, price was worth it, Shaun I’m generally was straight forward with instructions and one of the best hosts I’ve come across. Would definitely recommend this bnb to others

Nice little quiet waterside nook with plenty of bedrooms. Neighborhood is a little tricky to navigate but loads of space, and very accommodating host in terms of checkin/checkout times. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay here. The host was very friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were welcome to use everything freely, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was definitely the shower – the water pressure was amazing and made every shower super relaxing. The whole place was very clean, and we really appreciated how tidy it was every day. There were some parking spaces, and the overall environment was peaceful and comfortable. Thank you for providing such a calm and pleasant place to stay!

We had an amazing time at Jeannine's cottage. It feels homely and cosy. We loved the quirkiness of the bedroom space (comfortable and warm even with strong winds ourside) and of the bathroom a few steps across the courtyard. The cottage had plenty of space for us and is within walking distance of both city centre and Mt. Victoria and we used easily uber when we had to be somewhere quickly. Gary was shy at first but was clearly more comfortable around us after a day or two and we loved the cuddles but he is clearly very self sufficient! All worked perfectly and we genuinely loved our stay and would stay again. Jeannine is a kind, friendly and responsive host. A pleasure to communicate with and gave us plenty of suggestions about how to move around the city based on what we needed to do while in Wellington.
