Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Lower Shotover

Rowena was a fantastic host. Beautiful home not too far from everything we needed. We loved starting our mornings off walking around the quiet neighbourhood. Very clean home with all the amenities we needed, we all felt comfortable and at home in the space. We will definitely stay here again if we visit again Queenstown!

Such a beautiful location and home. If I ever come back I’m staying here again, I’ve already recommended it to all of my travelling friends. It’s close to the vineyards, the extreme activities locations and only 10 min from Queenstown. Really cute local food trucks and such a nice place to stay.

Juliet's homestay is just beautiful!The balcony is the lake view and mountain view, the matching facilities are complete, there is everything you think of here, and there is a semi-automatic coffee machine, we stayed for three days very enjoyed and saw the rainbow🌈!

Such a great house! Bathrooms were large, both with floor heating and heated towel racks. The second bathroom had a huge tub I would’ve liked to soak in daily if I had the time! Bedrooms all had lush carpets which was nice in winter. The outdoor spa was amazing, again I wish I had more time to spend in there! Kitchen has everything we could hope for. Key in lockbox made check in easy. House was super spacious. Excellent airplane viewing and great misty views across the valley and at the mountains. We would’ve liked to stay longer but alas, the place was booked out!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The house is absolutely stunning—spacious, immaculately clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. The highlight, without a doubt, is the breathtaking view. Waking up to such a gorgeous scenery every morning felt like a dream. This beautiful home made our first trip to Queenstown truly unforgettable! My family couldn’t stop talking about how special this place was! The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. Every little detail, from the cozy bedding to the well-equipped kitchen, was just perfect. Arriving at Tess's home was an absolute delight! The property is simply breathtaking with its modern design and stunning views of the hills and river valley below. This charming rural home boasts four bedrooms, a beautiful living room that connects to the fully equipped kitchen stocked with all the essentials you could need. The beds were incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens, making it hard to get up on some mornings with the fresh air flowing through the open sliding door. We had a blast doing yoga on the well-maintained lawn and sipping drinks on bean bags while watching the sunset. Queenstown is a dream destination with so much to offer - from wineries and bike rides in Arrowtown to thrilling activities like jet boating, funyaking, bungy jumping, and zip-lining. Great place to stay with a group of friends for the week! Heaps of space. Very warm. Loved the spa. Easy access to the lakeside track. Loved being out of the traffic of central Queenstown!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Belle Vue. The place is absolutely beautiful with the views of the lake and the stunning interior furnishings. We stayed for 12 nights and the place was perfect for our family, close to Frankton shops and the airport and 10 minute drive to the central town shops. We would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in staying in Queenstown. The home was so lovely and warm with all the heaters and underfloor heating, not to mention the gorgeous fireplace. Will definitely be back again here soon! :)

The house has it all - Great view overlooking Lake Wakatipu and peninsula, hot tub, garage, comfy beds, electric blanket, fireplace, enough bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, grill. I even saw a ski dryer room in the garage too. Extra clean! I’ve stayed in many big houses on Airbnb, especially in New Zealand. They’re all clean, but this house has really wowed me in details. The host team is very professional, responsive and kind. Would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Queenstown, I trust that you will have a great time like my friends and I did.

David’s place is as beautiful as it’s comfortable. We were a family of 5 and we only used the three bedrooms on mid-level floor. Having kitchen and living room and laundry all on the same floor made things super easy for us. Moreover my husband used the top floor office to do his office work away from our chaos on the lower floor which was just another cherry on top. And the view is just stunning - out of the world. It will make you get out of the bed in morning. We made use of both fire places, cooked and ate out on the patio many times. He also has a next-gen level media entertainment which we enjoyed. Thanks for letting us stay at your super amazing place David. Would love to visit again.

Had a great stay at Fifteen. Amazing views from all rooms in the property. Great amount of space including a very spacious garage. Main thing to note is that there are a lot of stairs in the house so something worth keeping in mind if mobility is an issue.

An absolute gem! Tranquil location, with vistas across the lake. The property is tastefully appointed, with the fireplace a real treat in particular. Bridget was a fantastic host, and we can’t wait to come back to Queenstown and stay here again.

We have stayed in countless places across NZ and this has got to be one of our favourites. Such a cool, quirky house in a quiet peaceful area. Sean the host is a super friendly guy and we are glad we got a chance to meet him. The house is warm and the kitchen is well stocked, we loved all the cool things in the house that made it unique. We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

A lovely space to base ourselves as we explored Clyde, Alexandra and Cromwell. Maria was a great host and made us feel welcome and comfortable, including turning on heat pump and electric blankets before our late night arrival.

Amazing location not too far out of town but far enough to be very peaceful. The carriage is super cozy and the fire works very well! Renee is a great host and is very responsive and was very understanding when we arrived a lot later than we anticipated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

This is an incredible Airbnb. If you are looking for somewhere to base yourself so you can sample some of the most breathtaking landscapes, nature and biodiversity in the world, this is it. The views from the deck alone are mind-blowing - rugged, snow capped mountains all around; at night there is so little light pollution that you can see the Milky Way!! Dan's home is stylish, tasteful, very comfortable, warm, super clean and exactly as the photos show. It has all modern conveniences - fast internet and wifi , full kitchen with a big island and large fridge, indoor and outdoor wood fireplaces, outdoor spa, a huge shower with a rainfall shower head, and floor to ceiling windows throughout. The bedrooms have blockout blinds for complete darkness when you want it. I spent two weeks here and had an amazing time exploring the Otago region, hiking, sight seeing, reading and relaxing and Dan's Airbnb was a huge part of this. Dan is very friendly and extremely easy to communicate with.

A lot of thought went into the space. Tons of adapters for phones, etc… It made everything very easy.

Lovely stay at Sally’s cosy home. Sally was very hospitable and accomodation was perfect.

Beautiful spot, loved the hot tub. Very peaceful! Gaze at the stars, the trees have glow worms! check in was mental, lots of dogs, I personally loved it, but if you are not confident with dogs and don't understand them you might be overwhelmed. I prefer dogs over humans.... so no complaints from me. I will return!
