Monthly Rentals in Lubombo Region

Comments from my partner: This was my first time visiting Eswatini and this property and garden surrounding/outside area was stunning. It was clean, well maintained and cared for and had fully functioning air con throughout. The property is secured with a gate and wall so I felt totally safe when left alone on some evenings. On the land there are two other homes, separated by gardens, who are family members of the property owner so I know if I needed anything or had an emergency I could go to them. The property was so peaceful and I loved listening to the birds sitting on the veranda. My in-laws have stayed here a few times now and this is the place we will always stay when we visit Eswatini. it’s also only 20 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from Siteki to get some food shopping, and around 40 minutes from Manzini centre. 10/10 would recommend if you are visiting Eswatini and looking for somewhere good to stay.

Our journey from Maputo, Mozambique took over 12 hours, meaning we arrived well after hours. Nokuthula continued to communicate with us, despite us losing cell service at the border. She stayed up and allowed us to check-in late, saving us from a very uncomfortable night. It's a family run operation and all of the staff were exceptionally kind. It really set the tone for how wonderful the people are in Eswatini. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with reasonable prices. Very comfortable beds and accommodations matching the price with everything you need. We ended up booking another night at the property before our flight out of the country. We would highly recommend if you need something near the airport or Hlane Royal National Park.

We did not meet Myxo but his brother Bobo. He taught us elements of Swazi language, the local culture, their way of life, and shared a meal with us. A plus of going on weekdays allows you to meet schoolchildren and visit the school. On weekends, it is possible to attend a wedding or ceremony at the church. We are happy to have shared this experience with our children. A big thank you to Bobo, it's a great experience, a must-do!
