We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful cabin. The name is perfect. Heimeli. Very cozy, we felt right at home. The valley is spectacular. The ski area close. U. Is great for hiking and exploring in the summer. Matthes is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We‘ll be back!

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

What can one say about staying in a greenhouse?! Lots, I suppose, but I'd say that we had a lovely evening and morning here. The beds were super comfy and the enclosed part of the "apartment" was climate controlled, airy, open, and spacious. The kitchen is out in the greenhouse and though we did only limited cooking, found that a blast! A brief rain made for a delightful sound from the greenhouse roof. The kids adored having horses (regular size and mini) right outside and the faint tinkling of the nearby cow's bells was charming. Also, nice views! I just want to come back in winter to enjoy the "hotpot" and fire burning stove!

We loved Casa Husenfels and thought Carmen was a very helpful and responsive host! The views are unbeatable and it was special to see fireworks across the lake for New Years Eve. I’d also recommend the walk up the hill, which we didn’t discover until our last day - serene and beautiful views.

Maybe the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve ever been in. Breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The Jacuzzi is of course a highlight but the most important one was on our opinion the host. Very helpful and friendly.

I highly recommend the home. To us it felt very comfortable and spacious. Was clean and very well equipped.

Edelweiss is a really cozy home and we had a wonderful mini vacation at the house. Everything worked perfectly and the house had everything we needed. And the view from all rooms and the nice garden is amazing. We'd love to come again.

The accommodation is tidy, and it's close to the bus stop, so it's easy to get around!

Bernadette was an amazing host - very proactive, responsive and friendly too. My husband and our family (adults) really enjoyed being at her home/chalet, as we felt right at home. Every little things have been really thoughtful arranged, including the fireplace. There were condiments (including oils even though we've brought our own), seasonings and enough tea towels to be used in the kitchen - LOVED it =) Sadly, we couldn't stay long enough as the chalet was booked but very lucky that we had 5 nights there. So, go ahead and book your slot before it get booked out hahaha... Once again, thanks for sharing the lovely home/chalet that you've built. We can't wait to go back to it sometime in the future. Adrian's place is stunning. It's a perfect spot for our family vacation- central to all that we wanted to accomplish. Off the beaten path in a very secluded quiet location. Great walks right out the door. Watched a brilliant sunset over Lucerne as we settled in for a fire along the hillside one evening. Enjoyed watching the local Shepard move sheep from one field to another. Adrian was a great host with excellent recommendations and even took the time to show us around the property. We would love to come back again. As commented before- the approach road to the community is very narrow but with a small car you get used to it after a few passes. I came to appreciate it as part of what makes this property extra ordinary and beautiful. Thank you Adrian for opening your home to visitors from Seattle.

Absolutely loved this place! A friend and I were taking a trip around Europe and this was by far our favorite stay! It felt like we were in a family members home - Everything was so cute and cozy. Not to mention the location! It is very walkable and there is a beautiful park a few minutes away! It is also conveniently located near the train station, ferry port, and lots of food and drink places. Elaine was also so kind and helpful. I will definitely be recommending her bnb to anyone I know who is going to Switzerland!

Everything was super! Beautiful private house on the mountain with fantastic view, 3 min by car till Skilift. Super clean and comfortable. Feeling like at home. We were second time at Nic’s house. Will come again for sure. Thanks a lot, Nic!

We had a great time staying at Jan’s place. Very quiet and clean home. Jan and Fatima are really good hosts. Will recommend to everyone.

Hugely successful 'once in a lifetime' family skiing trip, largely due to our host John's exceptional help in all matters. There were 17 of us and everbody was happy with their sleeping arrangements. John located us looking lost in town, escorted us up the hill and put chains on our rental car. He was the perfect gentleman, calm, welcoming and helpful. Excellent support before and during our stay. The Racklette John and family produced was delicious, a novel meal and a first for most of us. Lots of little extras, like the Xmas tree and sleds for the kids. So much ice cream we could hardly finish it all! Oh, and the brand new kitchen.

A wonderful cottage with magnificent panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the mountains. It was very quiet and relaxing. The terrace and bedroom windows all have lake views. The cottage was sparkling clean and practically and comfortably furnished. We felt right at home. We cooked a lot and everything worked. Denise has always communicated very kindly and clearly and responded quickly. A car is strongly recommended, as the house is at the top of the slope and public transport does not run often. We can highly recommend this cottage.

Thomas was very friendly upon check in. He personally met us at the home, and he showed us where everything was, provided 2 sets of keys, and provided local recommendations. He was happy to spend time answering all of our questions. As well, since there was no bus service at 4:30am, Thomas went ABOVE & BEYOND by driving us to the bus station. We appreciated this very helpful "extra" so much!! It truly made our day! The home was beautiful with plenty of amenities, with nothing missing! The beds were SO COMFORTABLE. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful airbnb and the host, Thomas. Thank you kindly for a great stay in Engelberg! 🥰

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young children for 6 nights. We had a lovely stay and found it to be a great location to explore Luzern and central Switzerland via public transport. We bought a Swiss travel pass and went out on excursions every day. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest trains station and about the same to the supermarket. There a play parks nearby and a small shopping centre. Check-in was easy and communication great from Julia and Daniel. The kids loved playing with the cats and chickens in the lovely garden when we were in and they enjoyed checking for eggs every day (they were delicious!).

This is a nice house just outside of downtown Engelberg. There is parking for 1 car in the small driveway, or two if you have a smaller vehicle that fits in the garage. You can walk a fairly short distance into town, but be ready for the long hill climb in the way home. The house had everything that we needed for a long weekend stay. The beds are comfortable. It’s a great value. I would definitely stay here again!
