Our neighbors have horses that peer over the fence (nosy) pet them but don’t feed them, please. Our cabin was built in 1865 by a Confederate soldier returning from the Civil War. A thoughtfully put together little cabin! Had all the basic kitchen supplies you would need, the bathroom was nice, the water got good and hot, the air conditioner worked well, etc. The host was responsive and helpful, the goats were very cute, and the place was very clean. I would note it was not bug proof--there were quite a few earwigs that made themselves at home as well. earwigs in the coffee! earwigs in the bed! and, hopefully, earwigs in your heart <3 They're a pretty mild and inoffensive bug, though. No issues with mosquitos, etc. Also plenty of attractions within a reasonable driving distance--we checked out some caverns, some hiking, and some nice local restaurants.

We loved our stay. The location is perfect, with beautiful views and private. It was about 6 minutes to the caverns and about 10 to the downtown area. The grill, fire and hot tub were fantastic. It's very clean and has what you need.

This place was awesome the views are incredible and the privacy was like nowhere else. As long as you have 4wd and don’t mind some steps this is a perfect place for couples. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Kevin was even proactive in letting us know the power had went out before we got there and then immediately let us know it was back on. This place really is a hidden gem and you are within 15-30 minutes of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

It is a beautiful home! We celebrated our son’s engagement and had a wonderful time! Very comfortably fit 14 people and 1 dog! The place was perfect minus not as clean as we would like but Shabina was very quick to respond and sent cleaners out right away to take care of! She also had doughnuts delivered the next morning as an apology! Would definitely stay again.

Close enough drive to the Swift Run Gap park entrance where you could conveniently explore north or south sides of the Park. The AirBnB was tastefully decorated and had everything one would need for a stay. Parking couldn’t be closer and plenty of space. Great place to stay to also explore the nearby small towns.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay. In town for a family funeral and it was the perfect getaway location to rest and relax amongst everything. Heather was very kind and understanding of the situation. The home was excellent and very relaxing.
