Old Forester's Lodge at Lindewitt

Take a vacation on historic grounds. Since about 1848, the old forester's lodge has stood here on the ruins of Lindewitt Castle with its castle moat, of which unfortunately little remains to be seen. Owners included Count Rantzau and General von Blücher and his wife Christina Sophie Countess of Holstein-Holsteinburg. The Lindewitter forest invites you to take long walks or bike rides. The forest house is centrally located between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, on the Danish border.

The property is located in the countryside between Flensburg and Husum. The house has 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom/shower and TV, as well as a kitchen/living area also with TV. Perfect for a group stay of up to 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped. The terrace has garden furniture, gas grill and ping pong table in the summer months. The fireplace with seating is located separately on the beautiful grounds. The in-house PV system supplies the property with electricity.

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Our beautiful 1-room apartment in the commercial area is on the second floor and can be reached via an external staircase. It is built a little special and therefore quite unique and very comfortable. An open living, sleeping and kitchen area awaits you. In addition, there is a walk-in closet and a storage room. The accommodation is 7.5 km from Flensburg pedestrian zone and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free Wi-Fi. If you look out the windows, you have a clear view of the ponies and riding lessons can also be booked by our guests.
