In just 8 minutes by car, you can reach an idyllic swimming lake, and in about 15 minutes, you can reach Schwerin. BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Not far from Lake Ratzeburger in a village location, surrounded by fields and nearby forest, the apartment (90 m²) with private entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. The bright rooms are inviting, south terrace (60 m²) with table, chairs and loungers as well as a small garden complete the offer. Bed dimensions (cm) 180 x 200 and 160 x 200. From here you can explore the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles are available (see photos). Additional information: Washer/dryer by arrangement for € 5 each

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

The apartment is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1850. In 2012, we carefully awakened the Uhlehuus from its slumber and restored it sustainably. The apartment is located in the main house, where we also live, but is completely separated and forms a self-sufficient unit with its own entrance, and its own large terrace with garden. The spacious property is fenced. Your children and your four-legged friends can romp undisturbed and make friends with sheep and goats.

Enjoy a rural vacation with the whole family, friends, or for a bachelorette party in our vacation home "Große Bauerndiele." In the garden under the apple trees, you can relax or sit together comfortably. A barbecue is available! A sandbox or ping pong table is available for the kids. In summer, we recommend a canoe trip on nearby Lake Ratzeburg or a shopping trip to Lübeck! Wedding celebrations are possible on the farm! The house has a full basement.

Country house near the Schaalsee

The house is in a very quiet location in the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. It is 10km to Lake Schaalsee, 5km to Lake Neuenkirchen, 50km to the Baltic Sea (dust-free!!!). From the house can be started directly to bike tours, on adjacent hiking trails. There is also a swimming pond on the very natural property. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous spout.
