BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Unser unscheinbares, sehr ruhiges Blockhaus liegt inmitten einer Wohnsiedlung und lädt für Kurzurlaube oder längere Aufenthalte ein. Urlaub im Blockhaus heißt, in einem einzigartigen Raumklima zu wohnen. Der Kaminofen wärmt bei Bedarf angenehm gemütlich. Das Grundstück ist im Sommer "blickdicht" bewachsen. In nur 8 Autominuten gelangt ihr zu einem idyllischem Badesee, in ca. 15 Minuten nach Schwerin. Wer Ruhe und Ausflugsmögklichkeiten mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto möchte ist hier richtig!

In front of the Schwerin gates is our over 100-year-old residential building with adjoining new building with two individually designed apartments. The "Gardenview" is suitable for both business and individual travelers. It is located on the 2nd floor and offers a light-flooded living room with a king-size bed, desk and small dining area with high chairs. An adjoining kitchen, as well as a separate shower room complete the apartment with garden views.

Country house near the Schaalsee

The house is in a very quiet location in the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. It is 10km to Lake Schaalsee, 5km to Lake Neuenkirchen, 50km to the Baltic Sea (dust-free!!!). From the house can be started directly to bike tours, on adjacent hiking trails. There is also a swimming pond on the very natural property. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous spout.
