Follow the steps down toward the shore to stretch out in the hammock or simply put your toes in the sand, and at night, ascend to the rooftop deck for a little stargazing. The property’s resort-worthy indoor amenities include a ping-pong table, spa and exercise rooms, surround-sound systems, wet bars, and a wine fridges.
The open-plan design makes the most of the estate’s spectacular location, with the majority of the indoor spaces featuring openings to the breezy terrace and amazing ocean view. There are six bedrooms in the main house at Sand Dollar Estate and three in the separate Little Sand Dollar house; all nine have ensuite bathrooms, and most have additional features like lounge areas, walk-in closets or terrace access.
As luxurious as the estate may be, its best feature might be a natural one: your own white-sand beach on Magens Bay. Spend your holiday in tranquility here, or make the short drive to one of the island’s other breathtaking beaches for drink service, snorkeling or a snack from a food truck—nearby Magens Bay Beach, Hull Bay, Coki Point, and Lindbergh are all well worth the trip.
