After visiting busy tourist areas all day this is an oasis of calm. We found eating dinner here, overlooking orange groves preferable to busy restaurants. The proximaty of the local grocery store, with butcher deli counter a bonus.

We had such a wonderful time at Julia’s charming property. It’s the perfect antidote to boring hotels or bulk standard villas. The house has such character, with thick stone walls and beautiful antique furniture. The outdoor kitchen is perfect to prepare long leisurely lunches by the pool, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. If you want to unwind and relax almost immediately it’s the perfect hideaway from the modern world. Julia is a wonderful host; highly communicative and helpful, but very discreet and respectful of her guests’ privacy. Her docile, friendly dog, Liefje, is just gorgeous, but won’t bother you if you prefer that. We wanted to see her as much as possible! It was so hard to leave such a magical place.

A artisanal house immersed in nature, surrounded by beautiful mounds where you often see sheep grazing in the pastures. In the immediate surroundings you will find a variety of flora and a thriving ecosystem in which multiple species of beetles, bumblebees, spiders and butterflies are common sight (good indicator of a healthy environment). At sundown - as I am writing in late May with 27°C - you hear the frogs croaking in the nearby puddle which is within the property, and throughout the night, the nightsky is clear of artificial lights, so you can see plenty of stars. There are also, naturally, a lot of bugs in the night, but we didn't have many problems keeping them out of the house, being careful with opening and closing the door. The house kept a perfect temperature during the night, without the need for any heating. Its design is clever and aesthetically very interesting. We had a wonderful time and fully recommend this place.

A very pleasant experience in a extraordinary accomodation. I especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in this house. Besides the fact that it is super clean and well organized, you can feel that the owners put lots of care and love into it. The composition of textures, colours and details feels very harmonious, natural and clear. I loved that there are plants inside and around the house. The floor heating is amazing - I traveled a lot through P and many houses feel cold during windy / rainy days - not this one, so cozy! I slept very deep and relaxed which is a sign of great energy to me. The location is fantastic, central yet absolutely calm with green view. Owners are very loving and heart-warming people. Perfect place for visiting this area. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The place was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated—every detail of the interior felt warm, stylish, and welcoming. The garden was a true highlight: lush, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. I especially loved the sunbathing area, which made it easy to unwind and soak up some sunshine. Our host was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would happily recommend the hobbit house, what a beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful surroundings with cows for company. Like other reviews, would recommend 4x4 or off-road car as the road leading up to the property is uneven but we had no issues in a crossover. Ana and Michael are very responsive hosts and have local recommendations that they're happy to share. There is lots of space to go on walks, beautiful beaches within 30/40 minutes drive and plenty of space on the property to relax.

An incredible place with an amazing atmosphere. A spacious property located in a quiet area surrounded by forest, offering complete privacy and relaxation. The house is stunning, decorated with exceptional style. We felt extremely comfortable here. Everything you could possibly need and more for a comfortable stay is provided, both in the house and on the property. It's truly a magical place you’ll want to return to again and again. Thank you!
