Lovely and peacefu,l we loved our break as did our 2 dogs Archie and Reggie, very safe and secure garden loved the hot tub. Recommend a visit to Dunster lovely place with great castle and grounds.

A very good house — quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

Our family of five, which includes three adult children, thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Nest. It is as pictured and described and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 nights, which included a wedding at a nearby venue, spending time in all the different areas of the cottage, and going for a lovely circular walk from the door. Many thanks Sarah

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, meeting all the gorgeous dogs, relaxing in the hot tub and walking to the local pub - with delicious food. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return! A homely and clean accomodation on beautiful settings on a farm, reminding us of memories of staying on farms in our childhood. Approximatley 30 mins from Weymouth where we carried out our bucket list - a visit to Durdle Door by boat, attendning the festival, swimming in the sea, going on the big wheel, eating delicious meals and relaxing in beautiful harbour settings. And where we could return from our days out to relax in our wonderful accomodation, sit in the garden, with a barley field backed on to us, listen to the cows in nearby fields and relax in the hot tub! Spending time together away from the hustle and bustle of life. Our host Jane made us feel very welcome, providing us with helpful information and was at the end of a phone or text if we needed any additional help. Thank you Jane - we made precious memories during our stay

Very well appointed and great for a family, we had an 18 month old with us. The games room is a little gimmicky but was fun along with all the board games as we had a little one with us so adds a little to the stay along with the hot tub and beautiful garden as couldn’t pop to the pub in the evening. There is also a cache of cars which our daughter loved to play with, it was these nice little touches that made a difference. Some great recommends from the host and the local area is handy and beautiful with a play park just a 10 min walk away. Recommend the Rose and Crown pub on a sunny day, 15-20minute walk, garden is great and little slide for kids. Traffic is the only downside to the area really but the house is nestled away from it all.

Thyme cottage was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cottage is characterful and comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was a wonderful, warm touch. The village of Woodbury Salterton is charming and friendly and close to Exeter. The Diggers Rest is a must! Stop in for a friendly pint or even better for a meal. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thyme cottage will be among our top stays.

Loved our stay here. We were a group of 4 friends and the accommodation was perfect. Had a problem with kitchen tap which Phil got a plumber to fix right away so we had water. Great house.. views from a couple of the bedrooms of sea.. loved Charmouth..found fossils on the beach, ate at the pub and enjoyed the Palmers ale goodlocal walks and on a rainy day had a fun afternoon in Bridport. Like to stay here again!

Lovely, immaculate cottage. Great location to walk to beaches and restaurants. Holly was really responsive and recommended a great dog friendly pub for Sunday dinner. We had a great stay. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and the cottage had lots of charm and character. We really enjoyed the garden and beautiful views. This was my second visit and I look forward to returning another time in the future.

Wow, what a stunning location. It's every bit as beautiful as in the photos. We watched glorious sunsets from the terrace and enjoyed walks on the beach. I enjoyed looking around the immaculately kept gardens and could have watched the colourful koi in the pond for hours, plus the two cute horses in the field. Andrew's directions to the house are spot-on, please don't trust your satnav or you risk being taken down some very narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle and no passing places. Ask me how I know. There is no mobile reception at the house, as you would expect given the location, but the wifi is very good. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

One of the best places I’ve stayed! It really felt like home away from home. It has been so beautifully renovated and although small, it really doesn’t feel like it. I will 100% be coming back! The location was amazing. We ended up parking in the nearby car park which only cost us £15 for 3 days. Very short walk into town and a nice long walk to West Bay but very easily doable. The house itself was super peaceful and quiet! Had the best nights sleeps too, even in the hot weather! Holly was super easy to communicate with too and always replied straight away!

Great self catering accommodation, small but perfectly formed! If you’re looking for total peace and quiet in a beautiful area, close to lovely beaches, towns and villages then this is for you!

Stunning location, very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Plenty for the children to see and do, with plenty of space and a large garden including some outdoor games to play. Our girls loved staying here and we can’t wait to visit again.

Nut Cottage was a perfect location for us. We were able to walk to both Lulworth Cove and the Durdle Door, two of the sites that we came to see. There were also lovely restaurants within walking distance (we didn't have a car). Sam and Katie were very responsive hosts when we had questions and they provided a list of helpful (and great) restaurants for us to try. They also gave us a heads up to reserve ahead, which I am so glad we did!

A very last minute booking, made all the better for the lovely stay at the Hideaway. Easy to get to with clear instructions. Spotlessly clean, and our son especially enjoyed staying in the upstairs “loft” with blackout blinds on his windows meaning no early starts ;-) Local to Lyme Regis and Charmouth perfect for the dinosaur fan/fossil hunter.

A beautiful part of Devon, great location with plenty of fantastic walks, easy to get to where you need and the beach is only a 15 min walk to. The house is really lovely and it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful clean and all you need.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway

Lovely cottage, well presented, great view. Loved it. Easy access to Chesil Beach which is a lovely place to swim, kayak, dive etc. Portland Harbour is also close with great kiting wingfoiling, windsurfing and schools for all the above. Highly recommended!

fantastic stay, thank you to Dorothy for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing, great folder left with recommendations on where to visit, where to go to eat etc, the views from the pub beer garden were just amazing. we went to a couple of local beaches and to monkey world, and corfe castle. and explored the surrounding beautiful village. annex was lovely, cosy and enjoyed using the private decking and garden. only one negative is that the water tasted chemically( if that's a word hahah) but we got around this by rinsing the kettle after each use and refilling the water per use. Thanks for a wonderful relaxing stay in beautiful Dorset.

Gemma has been great, the communication has been really easy. The place is absolutely wonderful, it's so peaceful and the kitchen has everything you need. Id only say about the location is by car only. No where to really walk the dog direct from the property, there are no pavements /footpaths from the property. There is, however, a beautiful meadow out front they can frolic in and there is an ungated garden with ample space. Thanks Gemma , it was perfect.
