The loft is fully equipped with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine plus dryer. Breukelen is ideally suited for a hiking or cycling holiday. The beautiful Loosdrechtse lakes are 10 minutes away by bike. In addition, you can reach the city center of both Utrecht and Amsterdam in 20 minutes by train.

Oorspronkelijk een oude pinkenschuur, is het nu omgetoverd tot een landelijk toevluchtsoord van 130m2 met een vleugje Franse flair. Stap buiten op ons ruime terras dat uitkijkt over onze fruitbomen, en geniet van het vredige uitzicht op onze boerderijdieren - schapen, varkens, geiten, kippen, kalkoenen en eenden - die vrijelijk tussen de bomen grazen.

Ontspan en kom tot rust in dit net opgeknapte gezellige kleine waterhuisje. Neem een duik in het zwemwater of gooi je hengel uit. Douche lekker af onder de luxe buitendouche met warm & koud water. En daarna heerlijk BBQ-en. Er is een kleine buitenkeuken met warm & koud water. Als de avonden wat frisser zijn, steek je de houtkachel lekker aan. Optioneel kun je een leuk boottochtje maken op de plas, wij verhuren de boot met een krachtige elektrische fluistermotor.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

Our loft is located in the center of Maarssen village in the Utrecht region (middle of the country) and within walking distance of the Vecht, which is also easy to reach for people who come by boat.

Guesthouse on estate on the Vecht

Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij on the Ridderhofstad Gunterstein estate on the Vecht in Breukelen. The summer cottage is located on the grounds of a small-scale organic dairy farm, a farm with 70 hectares of land adjacent to the Loosdrechtse lakes, where our cows, mostly ancient Dutch leaf heads, graze in an ancient park-like cultural landscape.
