Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! Thanks Ana for a wonderful stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

Very nice stay. Grandma's house is cozy, comfortable, flawless cleaning and has everything essential for a holiday in the village. D. Dália is a great host, proactive, very friendly and always available. I recommend it.

The location is spectacular. Great for those who want to just relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry night sky. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thank you to Francisco who was always available for whatever it took.

It was an incredible stay. João's space exudes tranquility. Located a few meters from the water, fun is always guaranteed if you are a fan of water sports. A swimming pool fulfills the purpose and a barbecue invites you to spend moments with family or friends with the wonderful view of the dam. João did everything to make sure we had an excellent stay. Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩

Everything is impeccable! Excellent house for 2 couples with children. The only point that is possibly less positive (which for us did not cause any problem) is that the house is located in a very quiet village, without a great offer of services (such as a mini-market, for example). Nevertheless, we are 10-15 minutes from Tomar and Ferreira do Zêzere. We are also this distance from "n" river beaches. In summary: for us, everything was 5 stars, from the house to the hostess

Paula really goes above and beyond to make it as comfortable as possible. What a sweet, nice woman and what a nice house it is. We were there in a rather wet period and in the house it was cold. But there was enough wood for the stove and she came to bring us electric heaters for the bedrooms. We also didn't arrive until 12:30 at night and we had communicated that so there were fresh eggs and sandwiches in the house in the morning because the village was rather remote (which is wonderful for peace and quiet). But we also learned that a bakery came by at night and that you could put a bag with a note in it and you had fresh bread in the morning! I can tell so much, but you have to experience it yourself. Anyway: Paula is a winner!

My family and I had a lovely week with Denise and her daughter. The apartment was lovely bright and spacious, with 3 good rooms. We especially enjoyed the garden, pool and lemon tree. It was easy to drive out to the many beautiful cities and hikes.

Corina & Martijn, Hosted us very last minute another Airbnb got cancelled last minute. Nevertheless they welcomed us within 10 minutes. A warm , cosy paradise in nature, if you’re ever around a visit is a no brainer.

Hi guys:) The house is located in the privacy of the countryside, amidst nature. The nature around is really beautiful. We liked everything in the house.

Very nice accommodation, well-equipped. Beautiful environment in the heart of nature. Be careful, vacation homes are under construction nearby, causing some noise disturbances but this should not last. Host not very responsive in communication but always responds to messages in the end. I recommend it.

Best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! Views and location were breathtaking. Eric’s Airbnb was extremely clean & had everything you could need. Eric was an amazing host who went above & beyond for us. Very proactive & helped out with any request we had, even when we needed to find a vet for my dog he was very responsive. The pool was incredible, hiking down to the lake & kayaking will be my favourite parts of our holiday. Already planned a trip for next year!!!

This place is amazing, the views are incredible, unfortunately the weather didn't allow is make use the pool whilst we were there but even without this we had 3 lovely relaxing nights here. Eric is friendly and helpful and we loved the visits from the dogs as we were missing our own at home. Casa zen is perfect for relaxing and winding down, the accommodation is spotless and the location is beautiful

We love staying at Rita’s place the ‘Cat Hotel’. It is in the heart of Portugal and this guesthouse in the heart of Pedrogao Grande is the heart of Portugal. Lots of beautiful places to visit, river beaches, pizza or burgers by Barragem do Cabril or vegan/ vege tapas at Pashamumma. Highly recommended.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

What a wonderful stay we had at Sonia and Rui’s house. It was very well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were both very responsive, helpful and friendly. The area is very quiet with nice neighbours. There are 2 balconies with a lovely view of the lake, a barbecue, and the house itself is very spacious. The village shop is a short car journey, which is well stocked. We travelled mostly to Tomar (approximately 20 mins by car) where there are a fantastic range of larger supermarkets and restaurants. The direct water access was absolutely fantastic for us, and we spent most of our time on the water/at the lake. The launch itself is a short drive away, but not an issue to get to. The access to the lake is fairly steep, but walkable/accessible. Our 3 year old managed this fine, and couldn’t wait to go swimming in the lake everyday. There is also a shared condominium pool, and was quiet during our stay. We were sad to leave, but will be back!

Martjin & Corina were the best hosts we could ask for, made us feel welcome from the very first second. The whole place is lovely and suuuuper welcoming to who want to relax and connect with nature and a quiet place. They also know how to take care of their guest and have maaaaaany awesome tips and recommendations for activities and things to do around their place, such as Wakeboard Park, amazing natural pulls, hikes and the best restaurants in town. Their place is beautiful and meets all the details described on their page. I recommend it over and over again and hope to come back to this place as soon as we can.

The house has a fabulous situation, with excellent views of the Dam and a cozy balcony even on rainy days. The fact that we can even park the door helps with luggage. And the surrounding area is really nice, with an excellent swimming pool and the dam itself, both good for refreshing baths, which the heat here tightens in the summer... The owner was very friendly and available for any request from us.
