Holiday rentals with breakfast in Macedo de Cavaleiros

Pleasant apartment with air conditioning in each room which is a plus in times of high heat as we lived during the holidays . Large independent garage and the garden is not accessible by the apartment you have to go around the street but small pleasant corner for a meal with barbecue light which was at the end of renovation ... Everything was perfect bread every morning offered little attention which is a plus thank you for this stay

The house is very well located and is easily accessible. Very comfortable, clean and organized. We were greeted with a basket of fruits, teas, coffee and regional products, we loved the reception and the affection.

The place was amazing. Very peaceful and quiet. Our room had a balcony that was overlooking the property and the pool. The sunrise was amazing as well from the balcony. I would definitely come back.

Very friendly host. We were very welcome. Village gave us important indications about the area. We had the courtesy of making us a homemade coffee with a local bread toast. Very calm zone good to rest. It was a good experience

The place is stunning and a perfect get away. Very peaceful with an amazing view and amazing breakfast! The instructions to find the Quinta were clear and after a first confusion in the town easy to find (just follow the signs). The dirt road leading there was a bit scary at first, but was perfectly fine. Deri welcomed us and gave some great recommendations for restaurants in the neighboring towns (would have loved to try the dinner in house but wasn’t available at the time), which we tried and loved. Wifi didn’t reach our room, but we didn’t mind that too much. We would definitely come back to relax and enjoy more of the surrounding area.

Beautiful area and perfect place to stay if you’re needing rest and refreshment after a long travel. Ana was more than helpful despite. Despite our language barrier we got by using the App and Google translate when face to face. Very pleased and will use again next time I’m in the area.

We absolutely loved our time at Cidália’s beautiful property. Cidália and her son Aderito were amazing hosts and wonderful people. The room was comfortable and had stunning views (including rainbows). The breakfast was fantastic and filling. When paired with the view from the balcony made for amazing memories. We had dinner at the Quinta one night and we are so glad we did, so good! Highly recommend and hope we can visit again one day.

Quinta de Santa Marinha is a gem, and so is it’s host! Cidália and her son are two of the nicest, most generous people we have met! We were treated to a wonderful breakfast every morning and a delicious tapas dinner one evening. Cidália had many wonderful suggestions on what to do and where to go. We are so thankful to have had this amazing experience that they shared with us! And the views are jaw dropping!

We spent a few wonderful days in Quinta de Santa Marinha. A place to return to. His hosts Deri and his mother Cidalia were spotless and very friendly. Its mountaintop location overlooking the Douro is spectacular. Enchanted with their breakfasts and infinity pool. A spacious room with a view. Very comfortable. Restaurants and super 10 minutes away in the village of Alijó. We will be back. Obrigados.
