This is not an ensuite room. Shared bathroom block outside to the right of the rooms. Park right in front of your door. Pull the curtain for absolute privacy and blackout sleeping. Spotless cleaning, kitchenette, Smart TV, free Wi-Fi. Not much sound-proofing in the room but it is safe, warm, clean, and at a value price for the area. Save hundreds of dollars, but you may hear your neighbor. Brand new bed. Professionally cleaned linens. Outdoor table & chairs. Great value!!!

Mackenzie Motels Backpackers Accommodation

This is not an ensuite room. There is an outside bathroom block (2 toilets/2 showers), each in individual stalls w/ lockable doors. The rooms don't have much soundproofing so you may hear your neighbor. Comfortable bed with professionally cleaned linens, safe, warm, private. Kitchenette, Smart TV, free Wi-Fi. Save hundreds of dollars for this excellent value room but understand some of the limitations for the price. Perfect for a stopover.

Surrounded by the mighty Aoraki Mt Cook, steps away from the Tasman Glacier, our alpine hostel blends comfort and excitement. After a day of taking on the rugged mountain terrain, relax and soak up the natural surroundings. You’ll be able to recharge and refuel for tomorrow’s adventures in our warm and inviting living areas complete with guitars and games, as well as a free sauna. Think log cabin vibes, but with a Haka twist.

The Simple Twin Room (Shared Bathroom)

The room offers 2 comfortable single beds. The toilets and showers are just across from the room. They are shared with other guests. There are also full cooking facilities available to use and a lounge and garden where you can meet and chat with other travellers. There is free use of the tennis and basketball courts. Check-in is from 2pm, if you arrive early, we can store your luggage for you.

The Quad: Private 4 Single Beds (Shared Bathroom)

Tailor Made Tekapo is set over 3 buildings on 3/4 acre of land in the middle of the Lake Tekapo Village. We have pet rabbits, guenia pigs, chickens and sheep around the gardens. There are also picnic tables, a hammock and tennis courts and rackets that are free to use.
