Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mackinac County

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

We really enjoyed our time here! The space was just as described and pictured. It was very well appointed. My daughter, couple friends and I enjoyed playing board games that were available. The kitchen was really well equipped as we made a couple dinners while we were there. The location was an easy drive or walk to downtown St. Ignace and the ferry to get to Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay there again when we are in the area again! And thanks for the bottle of Michigan wine. It was a happy surprise after a long day of driving!

we loved this place so much! Probably one of the best rentals we have every had on a trip! The place had great views , was so comfortable and felt like being at home and had so many small touches that helped us while being away from our own home! We loved all of these extra bonus things like night lights , extra snacks , variety of coffee options and a s'mores bar to top it off ! Thank you for making our stay extra special and fun!! We loved it !!

I highly recommend this home! We brought our two grown children, their spouses, and our 2-yr old grandchild here for a long weekend. Seven people total. It is a fantastic place to stay while visiting Mackinac Island and the St. Ignace area! It's a beautiful family home in a peaceful country setting, yet close to Castle Rock and only a 5 min. drive to town. The layout is perfect for large family groups, both inside and outside. There are lots of games, a fire pit, and several nice lounging areas. There is huge mudroom to store any extras, and even a garage for parking! The home is very clean and well-appointed. Amy filled the various spaces with beautifully fragrant fresh-cut peonies and left a small package of postcards - a very nice touch. She was proactive with up-front instructions, and also very responsive to any questions. Heads up: the driveway is long, windy and hilly. It will probably require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to in the snowy months.

Beautiful lake! Were up there in the snow and it was amazing 🤩 Warm house, functional kitchen, lots of space ❤️ Not a lot of hot water at a time, but enough to get things done

We loved staying here! We had 2 families that enjoyed this wonderful home! We did run into some bad weather so they were very accommodating and allowed us to stay past checkout in order to have safer travels. Would love to stay here again!!

The place was amazing! I was there for work and it fit my needs. I’ve loved the area for a while and if I ever wanted a getaway, that’s my spot! Coming to Curtis I will check Staci’s home for availability first!

Spent a few days snowmobiling out of this place. Was a great place to stay.

Great place to stay in the UP that is close to everything in the east/central attractions in the UP. We loved the location and property. The house was nice and cozy with everything you’d need for your time in the UP. Beach was 4 minutes away by car which was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

To say we enjoyed our stay would be an understatement! The view from the living room/main bedroom is breathtaking. The silence is filled with songs of birds, leafs, wind and overwhelming beauty. We spent days in/on the water, evenings watching VHS movies and nights amazed by the bright stars

This place is awesome, away from the busy life in town. Dustin recommended Johnnys on US 2 in St. Ignace, and it did not disappoint! We cooked over the fire and had a fire each night during our stay. Dustin is very friendly and helpful we cannot wait to return, this was a total rustic Northern getaway. The beach is very close too, great for swimming and relaxing. Thank you so much for making our vacation a perfect stay!

Honestly a great place! My fiancé and I had a fantastic weekend. We used the kayaks and the row boats for sunrise/sunsets and it was wonderful. However, don’t expect the Wi-Fi to work 100% of the time. In cabin 1, we could only connect to the internet while standing outside in the driveway to the place. And it would only actually work sometimes. I would still absolutely recommend this place! Just make sure to bring a paper map : )

Very nice location, easy access to lake as well. Nice and relaxing with lots of wild life. Outside was a bit messy but overall great experience.

The location was priceless , beautiful log home overlooking Lake Huron. The wildlife was amazing . Watching the Bald Eagles and deer were our favorites. Made lots of memories with great family and friends. We will definitely return.
