Holiday rentals with a patio in Madison County

This place was a very fun and unique stay. The converted school house has interesting history. The apartment is very spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable. The coffee shop downstairs has a very fun and funky atmosphere and great drinks. The available homemade pastries and quiche looked amazing too! It’s conveniently located to shopping and sightseeing. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity. The one downside i can come up with is there are 3 locked doors to go through in order to get into the apartment upstairs. Not a big deal though.

Amanda was an AMAZING host. We had a small issue and she was extremely communicative and had the issue resolved immediately. We loved everything about our stay and the surrounding area was a bonus. Would definately stay there again!

very cozy space. looks exactly like the pictures. very clean. host is very responsive and friendly. the beauty supply underneath came in handy when i broke a nail. the bathroom is HUGE. the shower can easily fit 2. the tub is do-able with minimal effort. the hard part is getting out of the tub when youre done. only cons: 1. paper curtains in the bedroom, so no darkness whatsoever. we were up with the sun. 2. mattress was worn. there is a large strip across the top section where it dips in. we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed the 2nd night and it was better.

It was a perfect place to stay for a quick girls trip!

Wow! We cant say enough good things about this place! Where to begin? We felt the pictures didnt do this place justice. Its so cozy and homey. We loved the space. It accommodates many with the bedrooms but has great common areas. The couch is super comfy for hanging out and the deck is awesome with the yard right off it. If youve got kiddos, its a great place to relax while watching them play. The location is also so convenient. BUT the cherry on top was Janet. She is a SUPERHOST so kind, responsive and so accommodating. I think she genuinely just wants us all to relax, enjoy and feel at home. So hurry, dont dilly dally and book this gem of a home!

If you click on it and like it... it's going to be exactly what you are acquiring also the host went as far as getting a projection screen for my mini projector ,very clean and fresh , peaceful, quiet nice and cozy and on check out day hungover woke up just a little bit late to pack our things and was giving the time needed to check out and not rush I'm gone keep it short and simple you won't be disappointed

Good place to stay for a little getaway

A very lovely home to stay in and very clean and organized. Eric was a wonderful host and super friendly. I felt very safe sleeping here and it was very cozy.

My mom and I had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The place had everything we needed to eat, rest, take a shower, and play cards. The house is near the host house but we didn't see the host during our stay. The host has a unique and beautiful variety of chickens and a beautiful lake with a water feature making the morning even more relaxing. Thank you for hosting us, we would definitely stay here again.

I love her placet was so clean and wash well stocked with needed supplies. l her set up it was beautiful and so comfortable i would stay here anytime I come back to visit. I recommend to anyone. I enjoyed my stay.

Being from St.Louis it was very peaceful and relaxing…no problems even seen the police patrolling…

Thanks to Cheryl and Don for their warm hospitality! Convenient for our purposes and very quiet neighborhood with perfectly manicured lawns. Very helpful with suggestions and weather updates. Will stay again if I get to go back next year.

Coming from out of state for my nieces wedding, it was fantastic for all of our ext. family. We had breakfast in & an easy walk to Dukes Bakery!! Way Beyond plenty of room, 4 large bedrooms, huge dining room table & living room sectional. Great lay-out. The amenities were unbelievable, making us not want for anything. Speaking of that, Angela didn't leave a stone unturned! She truly is the hostess with the mostest!! Our communication/questions were promptly answered & she so wonderfully allowed us to check in earlier than the rules stated!! Both outside patios, front & back were so nice, great convo areas! Definitely a Gem of a Place & Exceeded All of our Expectations! Thanks for Everything Angela but mostly letting us Enjoy the Heart of Historic Alton in Your Fantastic Home!!

Very satisfied with our stay!!! Close enough to everything we had planned to do and we felt right at home!
