Holiday rentals with breakfast in Magdalena

Miguel was a very good host, the property was clean and well located. We went around carnival and we were at a walking distance from the main parade. He was very kind and gave us good advise about places to visit and eat.

If you want something less complicated and with fewer people, stay here. The service is great and the people are super friendly.

Would recommend booking, the place is amazing and better in real life. Very easy check in, friendly staff and great service!

The house is beautiful inside and out. Amazingly decorated and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and the remainder of the house was comfortable no matter the time of day. Lots of space to lounge around the pool. We will use the house again when we visit Santa Marta!

Loved this place. The house has very nice spaces and a decor that is very traditional and fits all the atmosphere. Both comfortable and well lit the bedrooms. The location is ideal, a walk away from the church and very close to all the restaurants and cafes in the village. Flavia the cook was very kind. Colleen and Connie were excellent hosts, I loved their attention to detail.

This a a jewel in the Sierra Nevadas. If you are looking for some quiet time in a beautiful surrounding, this is exactly where you wanna be. I stayed here for about a month and have enjoyed the place and the area in general. The ecohotel is beautiful, the people working there are friendly and I immediately felt like home. I can totally recommend this place!!! Thank you

My partner and I found Selva Minca to be a magical paradise. All the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and even accommodated flexibly our super late and slightly complicated arrival when we faced trouble with flight cancellations, delays etc. It feels like a little community rather than an anonymous hotel. The food is very nice also, it’s especially a refreshing change to a somewhat basic rural Colombian cuisine ;-) The cabins are located directly in the jungle, so do expect to live and sleep in the jungle with all its relaxing and interesting sounds and animals. We loved it. The whole place truly seemed to care about the eco-tourism idea, not like many other hotels that just use the name but don’t really live by this standard. To get into Minca town, it’s a relaxing 20 minute walk down the main road, or a 5000 COP moto-taxi that only takes around 5 minutes. Also, from Selva Minca, many other hikes are possible, to waterfalls, cocoa farms, etc. We will surely be back!

Mrs. Martha was attentive at all times, since my arrival at the accommodation she received me from the taxi, she was attentive to the change of sheets, towels and anything I needed. The apartment is very well located half a block from the beach. I stayed for a month while working remotely and the wifi was no problem. Recommended stay.

Place according to the price, only one detail in front of the building there are two bars that have music from Thursday to Sunday until 4 in the morning and you can hear it in the rooms that face the street....But in general very good.

Overall, the conditions are worth the price. Allison is kind and easy to communicate with. There is a beautiful garden with a desk where one can work. Minuses: The photos are outdated. Nowadays, the view from the terrace is mainly of the trees surrounding the apartment (the trees from the photo have grown up). There was some mold in the apartment and some cockroaches. When there is a power cut in Palomino, there is no alternative source of power = no light, no internet, so one needs to be prepared for that. There was one barking dog of one the visitors (the only reason why I sometimes felt unsafe when comming back to the apartment).

The apartment that Victor has is in excellent condition, everything was in a new state, he was very attentive to everything. He left us towels for every occasion and is very well equipped. I would definitely take it again.

Ideal for those looking for accommodation further away from the sea, close to good places to eat. The place and the room are just like the photos. I would have liked the room to have an auxiliary night table and a chair.

This is such pretty house and we really liked it here. Great location right in the most beautiful part of Mompox. Also we had to change our arrival date and it was no problem for the owner.

I was in the private room, it is just as beautiful as in the photos, nice, spacious, with everything you need air, fan, TV, mirrors, comfortable bed. The industry feels safe.

Things to know: If you go there during Holy Week, know that it's the party until the wee hours of the morning. Great for those who want to party. If you want a quiet sleep, this is not the place to choose. I loved my experience of living the Holy Weekend from the inside out.

Recommend this place for having a good stay in Palomino. Everyday you receive delicious breakfast, the rooms are clean and prevent most of the noises of the street. You can enjoy your privacy in the rooms, cause every room has a balcony and same time you can be social using the rooftop with hammocks. You also can have rooms with air-condition which I would recommend you to take. The host is all the time present,relaxed, helpful and attentive. The main street lays at your feet and it is really easy to find and to reach the beach. There is also a library where you can borrow a book for reading at the beach. Also the host and his staff will prepare food for you if you like to eat there.

Beautiful hostel outside the center of Santa Marta. The city center can be reached on foot, and from there several buses to the beaches.
